It only takes a few minutes by taxi, but if you don’t want to spend 15 euros on a taxi, you can walk into the city in about 25 minutes. The surroundings are super peaceful, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan hills and olive groves. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were struck by the Renaissance architecture and artwork. 🎨The decoration style here looks like a museum, very old and full of charm. It really feels like going back centuries! The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming and felt very professional. The rooms are artistically decorated, each one is unique, and feature ancient frescoes on the walls. 🛏️The room we stayed in was super big and the bed was super comfortable, but the shower facilities were a bit simple, no modern shower cubicle, just a clawfoot bathtub and a shower head adapter. But this historic hotel really makes this little inconvenience acceptable. The scenery outside the window is so beautiful. I can see the whole Florence when I open the curtains every morning.
