Fenghua Sea Great Wall
Huangxian Sea Great Wall Forest Park Tourist Area is located in the southeastern coastal area of Fenghua, Ningbo, 35 kilometers from Fenghua city center, 40 kilometers from Ningbo city center, and 45 kilometers from Ningbo Airport. It is a provincial-level original ecological forest park, an agricultural tourism demonstration site, and a Ningbo city dark sky protection area that integrates beautiful mountain and river scenery, coastal charm, and cultural relics.
The park is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on one side, with a forest area of more than 10,200 acres and a forest coverage rate of over 90%. The park features lush ancient trees, babbling streams, the grand Shangshan Waterfall, the majestic Anti-Wokou Great Wall, and the clear and beautiful Mingzhu Lake, forming a three-dimensional landscape painting.
Scenic spots such as Lin Bu Square, Dongci Temple, Dongyuan Tower, Qinghe Gate, Xiaosun Pavilion, Panlong Temple, Feiyun Platform, and the Sea Great Wall are hidden in the forest, showcasing traditional Chinese cultural elements such as the wisdom culture of the Qin and Han dynasties represented by the four sages of Shangshan including Xia Huang Gong; the hermit culture of the Song dynasty represented by Lin Hejing, who lived with plum trees and cranes; and the anti-invasion war culture of the Ming dynasty represented by Qi Jiguang's resistance against the Wokou. Since its opening in July 2009, it has received high praise from tourists at home and abroad and has become one of the most charming hotspots in the new generation of tourist attractions in eastern Zhejiang.
