Yeongdo travel course recommendation
#Domestic travel
1️⃣ Handmade burger “Life Burger” for lunch
Address: 7 Jungang-daero 49beon-gil, Jung-gu, Busan
Atmosphere/facilities: Red signboard
Key point: American-style burger
Average price per person: Under 10,000 won
Rating: 4.5
There are no restaurants in the Baeknyeoul Cultural Village, so I recommend eating at the station. Life Burger is so famous for its red signboard, right? It’s an American-style handmade burger, and I totally recommend it!
2️⃣ Baeknyeoul Cultural Village
Address: 605-3 Yeongseon-dong 4-ga, Yeongdo-gu, Busan
Atmosphere/facilities: Walking while looking at the ocean
Key point: Baeknyeoul coastal tunnel photo
Average price per person: xx
Rating: 4.5
Baeknyeoul Cultural Village is divided into two parts. There is a street with prop shops and cafes on the top, and Baeknyeoul coastal tunnel and coastal road on the bottom. It’s a bit tiring because there are a lot of stairs, but it’s really pretty.
3️⃣ While walking around the Baeknyeoul Cultural Village, “In the Clouds”
Address: 253 Baeknyeoul-gil, Yeongdo-gu, Busan
Atmosphere/Facility: Ocean View Cafe
Key Point: Soft Cone Ice Cream Restaurant
Average Price Per Person: 3,500 won
Rating: 4.0
You can see the Yeongdo Ocean at a glance, and it’s an ocean view cafe. I’ve been to cafes, but I recommend taking out ice cream and eating it while walking. The ice cream was so delicious!
4️⃣ Baeknyeoul Cultural Village Ocean View Cafe “Baeknyeoul Beach”
Address: 236 Jeolyeong-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan Overall
Atmosphere/Facility: The cute interior and exterior are reminiscent of Bali
Key Point: Photo zone, signature drink restaurant
Average Price Per Person: Under 10,000 won
Rating: 4.0
There are many ocean view cafes in Baeknyeoul Cultural Village. The view is good, but the interior is also pretty, so it’s great as a photo zone. It’s called the Bali of Korea, so I recommend it!
5️⃣ Lotte Gwangbok Branch
After visiting the Baengnyeoul Cultural Village, you have to come back to Nampo Station to go to your accommodation. Be sure to stop by the Lotte Gwangbok Branch in Nampo Station, which has the famous Goraesa fish cake and Ops bakery in Busan! I highly recommend Ops Pudding. We packed food to eat as a late-night snack, left it at the hotel, and went out for dinner.
6️⃣ “Daejeong Yang Gopchang” for dinner
Address: 31 Jung-gu-ro 23beon-gil, Jung-gu, Busan
Atmosphere/Facility: Pocha-style atmosphere
Key Point: Be sure to order the fried rice
Average price per person: 2.0
Rating: 3.8
Nampo-dong is famous for its lamb tripe. The udon noodles and the fried rice at the end were so delicious. If you don’t like tripe or anything like that, I’d also recommend “Lee Jae-mo Pizza”, which is famous in Nampo Station.
7️⃣ Kkangtong Market Night Market & Gukje Market
Gukje Market closes early, so I recommend going before dinner or going to the night market late after dinner. They sell a lot of crepes, tanghooru, and seed hotteok, but the taste was not that great!
8️⃣ Accommodation
For accommodations in Nampo, I stayed at Adela Hotel, Lavals Hotel, and Stay Gaon. Lavals had the prettiest view, and Adela had good locations for all three, but it was the best among them. The view was not bad either. If you like the trendy sensibility these days, I recommend Stay Gaon 🤭
