If you're visiting Ikejima Bridge, you absolutely must stop by here! The shallow waters create a unique ocean color that’s different from other beaches. The seawater is so clear that you can see the sand beneath it. About three hours before low tide, the sandy beach emerges, allowing you to walk on it. However, swimming is prohibited. Although it can be a bit windy, the breathtaking scenery more than makes up for it. There is a parking lot available, though it’s not very large. However, there don’t seem to be any restroom facilities. If you’re crossing Ikejima Bridge, make sure to take in this stunning view!

I went to Kaimi-ru, a souvenir shop and restaurant located just across Ikema Island from Miyakojima. The purple sweet potato mochi seems to be popular, so I bought some. The purple mochi was surrounded by plenty of fragrant roasted sesame seeds, and it was hot and delicious. If you buy mango, they will cut it for you. Miyakojima mangoes are really delicious^^ There was also Blue Seal ice cream☆ If you go up to the roof of the store after shopping, you can see a spectacular panoramic view☆ There is a staircase to the right of Kaimi-ru that leads down to the beach, which connects to Ohama Beach. #0yentripnovember When I crossed the Ikema Ohashi Bridge in Miyakojima, I was captivated by the beautiful scenery. The blue sea and sky spread out before me, and the clear water sparkled on both sides of the bridge. As I walked across the bridge, the sea breeze was pleasant and I could feel the beauty of nature on my skin. In particular, the islands and coral reefs visible from the middle of the bridge were breathtaking, and I couldn't help but take photos. Driving and walking in a calm atmosphere with little traffic is also perfect for refreshing. I felt that Ikema Ohashi Bridge was worth visiting, as it was a spot where you could fully experience the charm of Miyakojima. It was a wonderful experience that made me want to go again.
