You can choose a half-and-half set recommended by the staff, where you pick two types of fish, two sauces, and toppings. - Recommended menu: We tried sea bream and bass, and while both were delicious, the sea bream was exceptionally tasty. / For sauces, the garlic flavor and spicy mala flavor, popular among Koreans, are a combination that can't go wrong. 2. Egg Tarts at the Entrance of Xi'an Road Night Market - Familiar yet irresistible, these egg tarts are rich in buttery flavor and feature a smooth custard filling. They're affordable and taste great even the next day, so be sure to pack plenty to take home. 3. Mala Grilled Squid at Xi'an Road Night Market - Fresh squid grilled on the spot with a smoky aroma and coated in spicy mala sauce! Perfect as a beer snack. 4. Xinxing Chuancheng Roast Duck (Beijing Duck Set) - A great place to enjoy the premium dish of Beijing Duck at a reasonable price. We ordered the half set for two people. The duck is carved right at your table, and it comes with a soup (which is large and contains plenty of meat, not just bones). The crispy duck skin melts in your mouth, but it can get a bit heavy after a while, so we paired it with spicy cabbage salad and fried rice. The portions were so generous that we couldn't even finish a quarter of it. When we asked if we could take the leftovers, they kindly packed everything neatly, including the sauce, in containers. We secretly enjoyed two more meals at the hotel with the leftovers. Even reheated in the microwave the next day, it was still delicious. Pavilion The Tree - Located at the far end of the 5th floor of a shopping mall, this restaurant offers an upscale atmosphere, excellent service, and high-quality food at street food prices. The fried tofu and cheese pineapple buns are incredibly tasty, and the beer is very affordable, almost at supermarket prices. 6. Xiding - A must-visit iconic restaurant in Dalian. Though the wait can be long, it's worth it. The dumpling skins looked thick in photos, but when eaten, they didn't taste floury or feel heavy at all. They were filled with juicy, flavorful fillings, and the seafood ingredients blended perfectly without any odd taste. We tried sea urchin, shrimp, and sea cucumber dumplings. The shrimp dumplings were good but relatively ordinary, while the sea urchin dumplings were outstanding. The dried shrimp cabbage salad was salty and paired well with the dumplings. If you enjoy alcohol, try their baijiu cocktails! 7. Daoyuan Morning Market - Similar to seafood markets in Korea, you can buy fresh seafood and have it cooked to your liking at restaurants within the market. We bought clams, scallops, sea urchins, and crayfish (longxia) and showed photos of the cooking styles we wanted. Although we were a bit worried about communication, the results were incredibly delicious. The taste was on a whole different level compared to what we had in Korea. Prices are about one-third of those in Korea. You can also buy drinks or alcohol from the supermarket within the market and enjoy them with the fresh seafood for an authentic local experience. Nearby and downstairs are private cubicles (a bit firmer). The rest area beds are softer but noisy with snoring, so light sleepers should opt for the small beds or cubicles. 🙋🏻‍♀️ Exceptionally Attentive Service Staff are polite and warm, with aunties and uncles being especially kind without being overbearing. Dongguan Street is Dalian's newest trendy area, featuring charming accessory shops, the popular bagel shop 'Okay Bagel,' terrace cafes, craft beer pubs, cocktail bars, street food, and hidden photo spots all in one place. You can reach Dongguan Street by taking the 201 tram from major tourist attractions, which offers a unique experience. Although I took a taxi, seeing the vintage-style tram passing by the entrance made me feel like I was traveling back in time. Modern trams beautifully decorated also frequently pass by, and the atmosphere is enhanced by saxophone performances from the wooden clock tower, adding to the charm of this hotspot. After recharging with caffeine at Seesaw Coffee, I explored the street. There are plenty of things to see, including cute accessories and souvenirs, and you can also participate in tasting or experience events, making time fly by. Additionally, there are many hidden photo spots scattered around, so don't just pass by—take a look at the alleys and spaces inside the buildings for some great finds. On a nice day, it's perfect to enjoy a beer on a terrace. With so many charming and atmospheric places, Dongguan Street is definitely a spot I want to visit again!

I stayed at the Dalian Railway 1896 Garden Hotel, just 50 meters from here. This charming street is located northwest of Dalian's Victory Bridge, also known as Tuanjie Street, with a history spanning over a century. The entire street is only 500 meters long, yet it preserves more than 30 Russian-style buildings, perfect for snapping photos 📷. Additionally, there are numerous Russian-themed shops where you can buy specialties like Russian black bread and sausages. Tips: The Russian Style Street is free to enter, and the recommended visiting time is 1 hour to half a day. It's about 700 meters from Dalian Station on Metro Line 3 and Line 5.

If you want to enjoy fresh, affordable, and delicious seafood like a local in Dalian, head to the Douyuan Morning Market! This market is packed with fresh, high-quality, and diverse seafood. You can personally inspect the seafood, choose what you like, and buy it at a reasonable price. Inside the market, there are restaurants that will cook your seafood to perfection at a very low cost. I enjoyed my favorite Chinese dishes here, including spicy crayfish (Mala Longxia), stir-fried clams, garlic vermicelli scallops, and sea urchin roe. Experiencing such high-quality seafood prepared in authentic Chinese style at this price made Douyuan Morning Market the highlight of my trip to Dalian. P.S. At "Dadi Spring Pancakes," one of Dalian's iconic restaurants, you can enjoy traditional dishes from Northeast China. The Dadi Spring Pancakes (Dongbei Road branch) also serves Peking Duck, allowing you to wrap it and other dishes in their soft, chewy pancakes for a delightful experience. The chef carves the Peking Duck right in front of you, and the taste rivals that of specialized Peking Duck restaurants. Plus, with a variety of other dishes available, you won't get bored with just the duck! If you're visiting Dalian, you must try both the Peking Duck and the traditional dishes of Northeast China together! The street itself is not very wide, and the shops are crowded together, so it felt a bit complicated overall. When we visited, it was the off-season, so there weren't many people floating around, and it was hard to tell whether the people on the street were tourists or locals. There were more practical shops than traditional-style buildings, and some were restaurants selling simple food. There were no food stalls, and most of the shops were located indoors. There were no particularly impressive buildings or relics, but it was a good place to enjoy a light snack or meal while walking around. It felt a little more lively in the evening when the lights came on than during the day.

If you are looking for a special travel destination and photo spot, I recommend this place! Just because I said XinghaiWanDaegyo, don't just take a taxi and go to XinghaiWanDaegyo! Don't do that!! Then, just drop us off at the bridge!!! The place we should go is the photo zone where we can see XinghaiWanDaegyo from above!! When you get in the taxi, mark the destination as 星海湾大桥最佳观景点 and then follow the trail to the sea!! Young people will probably flock there to take pictures! If you think we are going up a mountain, you can follow us! Because we are going to the photo zone! If you go up the trail for about 5 minutes, you will see a beautiful view of the sea and Xinghaiman Bridge below. It is close to the Dalian Lianhua Mountain cable car station, but it is said that general tourists do not visit this place often! Even though I went to Enshatan Park around 4PM, there were so many people! If you look at the 8th photo, there are people all around.... If you look at 大众点评, it says that they also have fireworks here in the evening!! Why did I only find out about this now? I want to see fireworks.. Anyway, Enshatan Park is really beautiful no matter how you take the picture, so it is a great photo spot!
