[Kamikochi, Nagano] A delicious Japanese breakfast of porridge topped with Japanese-style dashi!
After my morning walk, I had a Japanese breakfast at the 7:00 am session!!!
Initially, I was planning to eat at a restaurant serving set meals at Kamikawachi Bus Terminal, but...
while I was getting an explanation at the front desk, I started to feel hungry, so I quickly made a reservation for breakfast 🥢
For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western food, but I made a reservation for Japanese food!
You can choose between porridge or white rice, and if you choose white rice, it comes in a rice container (sixth photo), and if you choose porridge, it comes in a slightly larger rice bowl? (7th photo) It is brought to you 🍚
The rice and porridge come with different accompaniments,
I was interested in the Japanese-style dashi, so I chose the porridge 🙋♀️
Rice: grated yam, grilled seaweed
Porridge: Japanese-style dashi sauce, shredded yam, nori tsukudani
The porridge with Japanese-style dashi is incredibly delicious 🤤 I've never tried it anywhere else, so I was right to choose it!!!
I've been talking about porridge for a long time...
The main course of salmon and salmon roe was of course delicious with just the right amount of saltiness, and I was able to eat my favorite chawanmushi from the morning, and the volume was just right! It was a very satisfying breakfast!!!
If you stay overnight, I recommend making a reservation for breakfast!
