Never have I ever felt our money is well spent staying in Malaysia. The Kahaani is built beautifully in every part. The service and staff members are excellent! Very accommodating, responsive, and kind. The food is good and reasonable with big portions. Wifi was stable. Easy parking. Smooth check-in and check-out experience. No issues at all. The Jati room is chef kiss! Can't imagine other rooms! Overall, I get that Bali vibes. We were very content and happy staying here. We had fun exploring this place and the place next door. Loveeee!

Ahoy! September month is my best month of each year (cause it’s my birth month). Due to long weekend as usual because of Merdeka public holiday and having a toddler in our life all we can do is short vacay… so did a spontaneous day road trip to Bi Forest (Bijou Coffee & Eatery Cafe). It’s located inside the Happi Village, Janda Baik and they need RSVP and lucky enough to get 1 within couple of hours ahead. But the owner send us T&C which mentioned we not allowed to tour around the resort. However, we did walked around since resort staff are nice to let us tour. Food and coffee surprisingly pretty good and quite alot ppl (including hotel guests) came to the cafe. The cafe surrounding with tree and nature. An hour drive out of the city brings you to Bukit Tinggi which is at the foot of Janda Baik and Genting Highlands. This is an old town with some residential houses and lots of seafood restaurants and fruit stalls. It is like killing two birds with one stone where you can dine and buy fruits and fresh vegetables at the local farmers stalls. We chose a Chinese restaurant Mei Sek Ka to have our lunch and the food is delicious and some peddlers drop by to sell us some nyonya kuih which is also very tasty. Lots of different types of fresh fruits to buy from nearby fruit stalls and it’s a must to get.
