All Trip Moments about Kastellorizo
Kastellorizo (Megisti Island)
#summervacay
Kastellorizo is Greece in its purest, most peaceful form. Just a stone’s throw from the Turkish coast, it has a colorful harbor, neoclassical homes, and barely any cars. I felt like I’d stepped into a watercolor painting. At sunset, the pastel reflections on the water are breathtaking. It’s quiet—perfect for reading, wandering, and connecting with locals. The food was unreal too, especially fresh lobster pasta at a family-run taverna. Pure soul food for travelers.

Kastelorizo, Greece’s easternmost island, enchants with its colorful neoclassical houses, serene harbor, and unspoiled beauty. Far from the bustle of more famous destinations, the island offers a peaceful atmosphere where tradition and nature prevail. Highlights include the picturesque waterfront, the ancient castle ruins, and the stunning Blue Grotto — one of the largest sea caves in Greece. [Breathtaking view🇬🇷] Blue cave where you can swim! Kastellorizo island, Greece
#Watersports2024
30 minutes by ferry from Kas🇹🇷 in Turkey to Kastellorizo (Mais Island)🇬🇷 in Greece! I went to the Blue Grotto for the first time since I went to Capri when I was 16 years old✨️ You can actually swim in the Blue Grotto here😳
The waves are so high that it's a close call, so everyone has to bend down when they go in, but the inside is so spacious! I think the inside of the cave is bigger than the one in Capri!
Since I had the chance, I was able to swim properly☺️❤️It was quite deep, but perhaps because the salt concentration was high, it was easy to float and I managed to do it🫶The second photo is unedited📸It wasn't that crowded, so I could enjoy it at a leisurely pace and it was great💓🏷️Tips ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━🌟How to get to the Blue CaveWhen we arrived at Kastellorizo Island, we took a shared boat to the boat dock and headed to the Blue Cave🚣♂️There's no need to make a reservation, so just tell the captain that you want to get on🙆♀️On the way back, they will stop by the beach🏖If you want to relax, you can get off here and they will come to pick you up again🤲The price is 15EUR per person! Spot information━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━📍Blue Cave (Photsaliki) 🗺Address: Καστελλόριζο 851 11 Greece🚗Access: 30 minutes by ferry from Kas, Turkey, 15 minutes by boat from Kastellorizo Island🚣♂️💳Payment method: Cash, Euros required⚠️💵Budget: 15EUR
