🏛️History and atmosphere
When you walk into Keens Steakhouse, you will be attracted by the wall of pipes at first sight. This old steakhouse, founded in 1885, is one of the oldest restaurants in New York. Even former US President and playwright Mark Twain was a frequent customer!
The interior decoration is full of old-fashioned British style, with wooden walls, brass chandeliers, and even the seats are like old tavern boxes. It's like traveling back to the old New York gentleman's club in the 19th century.

🍖Signature dish recommendation
Mutton Chop Lamb Chop
• Aged for about one year, with precise heat control, crispy skin and juicy inside. Paired with mint jelly and fried chicory, it is a signature dish of Keens that you can't miss.

🍷Beverages and services
• A wide range of wine choices (from affordable to high-end), the restaurant atmosphere welcomes dining with red wine.
Overall, Keens' experience value is much higher than that of ordinary steakhouses - if you want to eat old-school New York flavor + historical atmosphere + lamb chops reputation, it is definitely worth a try; but if you focus on top steaks and consistency, it is recommended to eat Peter Luger😆
