On the last night of a 23-day solo trip in Japan, considering the convenience of getting to Narita Airport, I chose the Keisei Richmond Hotel Tokyo Oshiage, located right across from the Tokyo Skytree. The Richmond chain brand is a business hotel with an extremely high cost-performance ratio, especially the one at Oshiage Station. Not only does it have direct Skyaccess to Narita Airport, but it also has two subway lines, the Toei Asakusa and the Hanzomon, making transportation very convenient. At the same time, it boasts an unbeatable view of the Skytree, and with a Sushi Zanmai restaurant right downstairs, it couldn't be more convenient. I booked early and chose the Skytree View Comfort Double Room. The room is about 20 square meters with a double sofa and a comfortable bed. The view of the Skytree from the window is nice, but the view from the 13th-floor outdoor terrace is even better, with an unobstructed direct view of the Skytree. The room rate is $3600 per night, and an additional $360 for breakfast. The normal price for a Skytree view room is over $5000, so booking early definitely has its perks. I've tried the breakfast before, and the food is actually quite good, including fried shrimp tempura. Eating while looking at the Skytree from the second-floor restaurant is quite enjoyable. Typical business hotels in Tokyo offer self-service amenities in the lobby, but Keisei Richmond goes the extra mile. In addition to toiletries, they also provide three types of bath tablets and face masks! The face masks are a real treat, as Tokyo is dry and sunny, and it's necessary to take good care of your skin. This time we’re unboxing at the Richmond Hotel in Oshiage Station! Location: Excellent (there is a sushi shop on the second floor of the hotel, a very large Life supermarket is a 1-minute walk away, and the subway station is just a right turn from the hotel exit) Room size: Small, barely enough to open two 28-inch suitcases Room facilities: The hotel itself is very new and clean! I personally like the hotel's amenities very much. You can freely take the amenities you need at the counter (even bath tablets and facial masks). The Mikimoto shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the room is really super easy to use 💗 I chose this hotel because there is a bus that goes "directly" to Disneyland at the Skytree bus stop opposite (1,000 yen per trip, the journey takes about 50 minutes). I can catch up on my sleep in the bus before heading to Disneyland in the morning, and I can play until I'm tired at night without having to squeeze on the train with everyone. It's really worth it! If you take the subway station elevator, you will see the hotel entrance right away, and the room is spacious and the bathroom is clean, so it's really indescribable..... Sometimes, in other people's reviews, they say that the hotel elevator is slow, but I really didn't feel it at all. Rather, I always talked to my friend about how fast it was.. A group of 3 people went on a self-guided tour of Tokyo. We checked into the Richmond Hotel Oshiage Keisei at $3xx per person via trip.com. It is conveniently located less than 3 minutes' walk from Exit B3 of Oshiage Station. The room is 21 square meters and has a sky and tree view. Since the hotel was completed last year, the facilities are newer. The hotel is directly opposite the Tokyo Skytree, and you can take close-up photos of the Tokyo Skytree during the day and at night from the small public terrace on the 13th floor of the hotel.
