The sea in Trat province is really beautiful and clear. It takes a considerable amount of time to travel here, but it's very much worth it. Koh Chang has many beaches, and each one is beautiful. However, I like Klong Prao Beach the most. The beach has a shady atmosphere with coconut trees lined up along the shore. Some of the things I did during my 10 day stay in Koh Chang, Trat, Thailand. After almost a decade of not travelling to Thailand, I can say that I did not regret coming to Koh Chang to experience the Island life. Definitely less of a crowd, but you can still see plenty of tourists around the island. ✈️ How to get here: To get to trat, you can either get a 4h~ car ride to the island or take a domestic flight from bangkok to trat airport. + You have to ride a ferry to get onto the island! Overall 8/10 ⭐️ experience Loveeee the food here. Klong Prao Beach is a beach with no roads. There are coconut trees planted along the beach. We have to find a place to stay or a resort by the sea before we can swim in the sea. The sea water is clear and clean. There are no rocks to hurt our legs. It is not crowded because it is a private beach. There is no road access. The view of Klong Prao Beach is beautiful. You can see mountains and small islands lined up in front of you. The waves are not strong because it is a concave bay that helps protect against strong winds and waves. You can surfboard, canoe, or other water sports.

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful part of the island. Long beach with great swimming and waterfall to boot. Please be careful when walking towards the end of Klong Prao where the river enters the sea, because of sandflies. I got bitten pretty badly on my first night out. Now, I am only going there fully clothed. Interesting sightseeing like night markets are possible to catch during weekdays.
