[2025 Kobe Attraction] Travel Guide for Kobe Shushinkan (Updated Jul)

First destination of the day for my Day 2 of Kobe sake breweries tour. Saw these two ladies walking out with a sakelee softserve cone and I knew I had to get it too even in this winter weather! This is also a 3-in-1 place with a sake brewery, a souvenir shop and a restaurant. Limited by the time, I only bought a few items and of course the sakelee softserve is not to be missed! Besides eating wagyu beef in Kobe, what else do you do? I'm going to Kobe Restaurant🍶 There are several large wooden wine barrels in front of the door, really big as a person tall 😅 great for taking pictures 🤩 There are many kinds of sake in the tavern, basically you can try it, of course, you can buy some as a souvenir! I went to Kobe Shushinkan (a complex consisting of the four breweries below). The place I actually went to was Tomei-gura, where they do tastings and sell products. I saw the exteriors of the other breweries in the same area. ・Fukujugura, which produces the sake "Fukuju" ・Sakabayashi, the brewery's restaurant, and "Suimeigura" ・Tomei-gura, the brewery shop ・Toyoakegura (Shushinkan Hall), a multipurpose hall Address: 1-8-17 Mikagezukacho, Higashinada-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture Access: Get off at Ishiyagawa Station on the Hanshin Railway, and walk south along the Ishiyagawa River for about 8 minutes (free parking available) After tasting, I was able to buy the ones I liked by weight, so I chose a container and purchased them.
