While listening to the guide's explanation, we watched the scenery from the train window on the large screen at the front, and took a 15-minute fantasy trip. This was more fun than I expected. We looked around at the many exhibited trains, and in the reproduction of the waiting room of the old station building, there was a three-wheeled truck parked outside and a candy store, so both adults and children could enjoy it. The train models were on an amazing scale, and there were many trains running on the rails, stopping at stations, and stopping at traffic lights, so it was fun to look at them. We had a lot of fun getting into the driver's seat of the actual train on display and taking photos, and I was happy to have lunch in Shinkansen dishes at the restaurant. There were also many souvenirs at low prices, such as Shinkansen and cookies in tins of various train cars, so we were able to buy a lot. If you go to Kyoto, it's definitely worth a visit at least once.

In Japan, there is a "private railway" operated by a private enterprise - Tarumi Railway. Take the JR Tokaido Main Line express train from Nagoya Station and arrive at Ogaki Station in about 40 minutes. Then transfer to Tarumi Railway to start this romantic journey. 🌸During the cherry blossom season, Taniguchi Station and Tarumi Station along the line are great places to enjoy cherry blossoms❣️ It takes about 15 minutes on foot from Tarumi Station to reach Tanmo Park. There is one of the three major cherry trees in the park, the light ink cherry tree. This cherry tree is over 1,500 years old. When it is in full bloom, it is a tender white color. #GetDiscountNotDependingOnLuck This is the last place my mom decided to bring the kids to because she thought it wasn't that interesting. Plus, the kids don't really like trains that much. But since it's a place that can be used to enter for free with a pass (can choose 3 places), mom didn't know what to choose. This one seemed the most worthwhile, so she decided to give it a try. It turned out to be better than expected, starting from the souvenir photo that they gave us for free (it was designed very stylishly, it was a picture of the front page of a newspaper when the first Shinkansen train in Japan was launched). - Inside is a section that displays many models of trains. You can go inside some trains and explore the trains both on the back and under the train. - There is a simulation of an old train station for taking pictures. There is a section where kids can learn about the train machinery while they are actually working. At some points, you can press the buttons to control the sound and doors. - There is a simulation show of different trains running in 1 day (all in Japanese, we don't understand it, but I guess that's it 😆). But the part that the kids like the most is probably the train toys, which have almost every Japanese brand. We spent so much time here that we ruined our mom's plan and decided to cut off 1 trip 😅 until we had to let the kids stay here until it closed.
