Art, Vibes, and a Surprise Obsession, Lee Ungno Museum
#summervacay Randomly wandered into the Lee Ungno Museum in Daejeon and didn’t expect to vibe with it as much as I did, but wow, it’s lowkey awesome. The museum’s not huge, but it’s super modern and the layout makes it feel open and calm. Total “slow down and just look at stuff” energy.
Lee Ungno’s art? Wild in the best way. Traditional brush strokes mixed with abstract, modern stuff, kinda trippy, kinda beautiful. Even if you’re not an “art person,” there’s something super cool about how expressive and different it all feels. You walk through the space and get this sense of creative freedom without feeling overwhelmed.
The outdoor area is really pretty too, clean lines, chill design, and perfect for snapping a few artsy pics. It’s the kind of spot that makes you feel cultured without trying too hard.
Honestly, if you’re in Daejeon and need a mellow break with major aesthetic points, this place totally delivers. Unexpected gem. Would go again.
