Causeway Bay Indian Food in Hong Kong | Michelin-starred chef’s curry is delicious and affordable
After shopping in Hysan, Causeway Bay, we had Indian food at Lee Garden. Leela is run by Manav Tuli, the former head chef of Chaat, a Michelin star. I finally booked it with my bestie. It features Indian royal cuisine. Every bite of this Indian dinner is a surprise!
🦆 Baked Chettinadu Duck Samosa (Duck Cone)
Very creative! Made into a cone shape, golden and crispy, cute and delicate. Inside is slow-cooked duck meat, which is distinct and paired with mint sauce, refreshing and refreshing! It balances the richness of the duck meat, a perfect match!
🐤Smoked Butter Chicken (Butter Curry Chicken)
Caramelized tomatoes are slowly cooked, and the aroma penetrates into the chicken. Paired with mustard oil, the aftertaste is lingering with the wilderness feeling of whiskey, just right!
🍚 Kothamalli Bone Marrow & Beef Cheek Biryani (Beef Bone Marrow & Beef Cheek Biryani)
I was shocked by the pastry when it was served! The waiter helped me cut it open. Under the pastry was a treasure of fragrant rice. The rice grains were distinct, and the curry and turmeric were fragrant. The beef cheek meat melted in my mouth! Mixed with the fragrant beef bone marrow, it was so delicious!
🥭 Mango Mastani (Mango Ice Cream)
Dessert lovers are delighted! It subverted my perception of Indian desserts! The mango milk ice cream has a smooth texture, paired with crisps and nuts, and every bite brings happiness!
I love curry and pancakes. This dinner is full of ritual, and the dessert breaks my stereotype! I really love it!
