This restaurant is called Caisheng Restaurant 古城财盛餐厅. I had a chance to go to the old city and saw that this restaurant was quite crowded. It is right at the entrance of Dafo Temple, so I stopped by and was not disappointed. The menu is all in Chinese, but there are some pictures. The staff is very helpful. We ordered fried pork ribs, fried pork belly, seaweed soup, stir-fried vegetables, and bread to eat instead of rice. The fried pork ribs menu is very delicious. The meat is soft. It is sprinkled with fried crushed beans, which goes well together. It is also not expensive. We ordered many things and it was only 200 yuan for 4 people. If anyone passes by the old city, try stopping by and eating. Lijiang is beautiful, but there are also many tourist traps...I've summarized some points for you to check out 👀 ✈️ Travel: We chose to fly directly from Changsha to Lijiang (just two hours to arrive). You can also choose to transfer in Kunming, which would be more economical. ⚠️ Things to avoid!! 1. Many fruit vendors in the Old Town - most I bought from were disappointing. The monstera fruit, sugar apple, and dragon fruit weren't tasty 2. Whether it's souvenirs, clothes, or jewelry, you really need to compare prices at multiple shops + bargain. Each store really varies quite a bit 😅 3. You absolutely must bring comfortable shoes - the roads in the Old Town are really difficult to walk on, and you need to be careful not to slip 4.
