[2025 Yingde Attraction] Travel Guide for Little Zhaozhou Bridge (Updated Jul)

The stay was fantastic!‼️ 1️⃣ Nearby Attractions Hot air balloon base, Yingxi Peak Forest Corridor, Little Zhaozhou Bridge, Cave Heaven Fairyland, and more. 2️⃣ Surroundings The elegant rooms are located on floors 2-4, each with floor-to-ceiling windows surrounded by mountain forests 🏞️. The air is incredibly fresh, and waking up to misty mountain views in the morning feels like stepping into a fairyland.🍃 3️⃣ Hotel Design The hotel is an eco-friendly bamboo-themed boutique with unique and tranquil decor, exuding a serene and refined atmosphere. 4️⃣ Hotel Facilities The first floor features a free book lounge 📖 and a children's play area 🧒, perfect for families 👨‍👩‍👧. The hotel also has a restaurant and a rooftop bar. | Yingxi Peak Forest. 📍[Route] We visited the Cave Fairyland in the morning (see previous post). After lunch, we visited several free natural attractions. Xiao Zhaozhou Bridge → Linpo Ancestral Temple (15-min drive) → Heshun Karst Cave (2-min drive/20-min walk) → Guanyin Valley (6-min drive) ✨ Self-driving recommended --- 🔹Xiao Zhaozhou Bridge - Ancient bridge in an ink painting 🚗 Navigate to "Gongzheng Village, Huanghua Town". Free parking available by the bridge. ✔️We arrived at around 2 pm. There were some tourists, but not many. The bridge is small and surrounded by karst peaks. The reflection of the bridge and the peaks in the water is a sight to behold. ⚠️ Lower your expectations and you may be pleasantly surprised. The scenery is perfect for taking photos in Hanfu. 🔹Linpo Ancestral Temple - 600-year-old temple 🕙Open 7:00 am–5:30 pm. Free entry. ⚠️Note: No photos allowed in the temple! The century-old banyan tree at the entrance is impressive. You can ask for a peace charm (donation required). The backyard is home to a group of Qing Dynasty steles, which history buffs will love! There is also a real outdoor rock climbing area. We saw someone online who had booked a rock climbing coach to bring their kids here to climb. 🧗🏻‍♀️ 🔹Heshun Karst Cave - Full of adventure 🔦Bring a flashlight! 🌊Real experience: An undeveloped karst cave! The stalactites are within reach. The cave is dark inside, so be careful if you are timid. 🔹Guanyin Valley There is a temple, but we didn't go in. The valley is surrounded by mountains, and it feels like you are deep in the mountains. The mountains are within reach, and the area is very open. It is a large natural oxygen bar. ⚠️It is just a place to visit, and children may find it boring. --- ⚠️Tips ✅No lighting in the cave! Bring a strong flashlight and avoid rainy days (prone to flooding). ✅Wear non-slip sneakers! Most of the roads are gravel. ✅No shops nearby! Bring your own food and water. ❌Although these are free, niche attractions, we still saw tour groups! It is best to avoid weekends! Compared to the paid attractions of Fenglin Xiaozhen and Cave Fairyland, these free attractions are more natural and wild. Although they are not as refined and do not have as many activities, you can enjoy beautiful scenery along the way! You can visit all of the above attractions in 2 hours. If you have time, you can go for a walk!

I've always wanted to visit the Enshi Grand Canyon, attracted by the photos on the internet, which have been popular for many years, but I never managed to arrange it because there is no high-speed train to the Enshi Grand Canyon, only self-driving is possible, and I prefer to go to farther places during major holidays. This time, I finally managed to schedule it during the three-day holiday. The drive took over two hours, and the baby was quite cooperative. The first stop was the Xiao Zhaozhou Bridge. After getting off the highway, we quickly arrived. Following the navigation, we turned into a small road, and I was confused, thinking we had taken the wrong turn. I stopped the car to walk ahead and check, only to find out we were on the right path. I started to see many shops selling local specialties, and the Xiao Zhaozhou Bridge was right next to a very narrow dirt road. It really was just a spot for checking in.
