Eating Michelin in Da Nang? A great place for Bun Cha and Lotus Leaf Rice, .
, a Vietnamese local restaurant that I heard has become quite popular recently, and I decided I had to visit. It is said to be a famous restaurant that many local celebrities visit because it offers healthy, non-stimulating flavors. It has branches in Hanoi and Da Nang.

How could I not visit after winning so many awards?
🟢 Location
It takes about 15-20 minutes on foot from Han Market, and it is next to 'Novotel Premier Han River', so it is also called 'Novotel Restaurant'.
You can dine on the 3rd floor (2.5th floor) while enjoying the beautiful view of the Han River.
🔵 Reservation
The official website says to make reservations by phone. (+84) 818 12 28 28
🟣 Interior/Exterior
The exterior is retro yet luxurious, with white and green that convey a cool feeling, and red points that catch the eye. It also has a green feel!
The interior also uses Vietnamese hats and furniture to give an antique feel, but the tables are arranged widely and the air conditioner is turned on so it is very comfortable^^
🔴 Food
▶ ‘Luk Lak Signature Bun Cha’: A sweet and sour soup that is not too salty or strong. The meat with a spicy taste and fresh vegetables come together to create a wonderful harmony of flavors in every bite. The noodles are quite chewy. A really delicious Bun Cha that lives up to its name of ‘Signature’.
▶ ‘Ban Mi Sot Bang’: Vietnamese beef stew ‘Sot Bang’ served with Ban Mi. It is a Western-style beef tomato stew with a little coriander added to make it not too thick. The meat is so soft that it just melts in your mouth. It seems to be very good to dip the half-and-half in stew broth. I think it may be a matter of taste because of the cilantro.
▶ 'Luk Lak Signature Lotus Leaf Lotus Seed Fried Rice': Fried rice with a rich buttery flavor, lotus seeds that taste like beans but are softer than them, and garlic flakes go very well together. If you lightly mix the soy sauce provided with it, the flavor increases, and the bland seasoning is just right. A healthy version of soy sauce egg rice? I want to eat it again!
▶ 'Garlic Seasoned Grilled Eggplant': To be blunt! I didn't like this one at all! The reviews that said 'the garlic flavor is subtle and the eggplant is soft' were accurate, but... They said it was grilled, but the texture felt like it was steamed, and even though I dipped it in soy sauce, it was vaguely bland.
▶ 'Morning Glory Garlic Stir-fry with Soft Scrambled Eggs': They put scrambled eggs and garlic flakes on top of the stir-fried morning glory. I liked the morning glory because it wasn't salty and wasn't oily. Just like the title suggests, the scramble was also very soft.
... Unlike the well-known Vietnamese restaurants that tourists often visit in Da Nang, in addition to the typical and popular Vietnamese food, there are many dishes with unique ingredients such as snails, duck, sturgeon, and pigeon. Aren't you curious? ㅋㅋㅋ
I want to visit again next time and try the chef's recommended menu that I didn't get to try this time, 'Grilled Black Pork, Grilled Chicken, Snail Tomato Rice Noodles'!
If you go there yourself, you'll see why is Michelin~ If you go to Da Nang, I recommend visiting at least once!
It's even better because there are many places that offer 10% discounts!
There's so much delicious food!!! The two of us had a delicious meal~^^
