#singaporetrip Epic dim sum lunch I had at Madame Fan! It was like a flavor party in my mouth! First up, we had these crispy duck rolls that were so crunchy and mouthwatering, I couldn't stop munching on them! 🦆 And then came the pork congee, which was like a big warm hug on a cold day – so comforting and satisfying! The BBQ pork buns were pure sweetness and savory goodness wrapped up in fluffy buns. I swear, they were like little bites of heaven! 😇 And oh, the radish puff was a total surprise! Flaky, fragrant, and so darn delicious! Lastly, the Shanghai dumplings, those juicy little parcels of perfection! I felt like a dumpling-eating pro, slurping up the savory broth and savoring every bite. As a grand finale, they brought out a complimentary cake! It was light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness to wrap up this culinary adventure on a sweet note. The dim sum lunch at Madame Fan was truly a culinary delight that left an indelible impression on my heart and palate.

#moreinsg Have heard good reviews about this restaurant and decided to try it out for myself. Had dinner and dim sum lunch on two consecutive day. The food is great and the ambiance is quite different during the night and lunch. For dinner, it consist of a lot of foreigners having dinner and drinks there. The four treasure soup and fried Hokkaido scallops with asparagus are really good. The ume wasabi prawn was full of wasabi sauce which wasabi lover will definitely love them (I prefer a lighter wasabi version). They also have a separate beautiful bar area for those who prefer to just drink. For lunch, the crowd consist mainly of business lunch crowd as well as friends’ gathering as they have dim sum ala carte buffet which consist of dim sum as well as some Cantonese dishes. I tried the scallop siew mai, duck pumpkin puff as well as their dessert (20 years pu er tea lychee jelly osmanthus peach resin - it not only look lovely but taste great too) which was very nice. The service was great at the restaurant and the server actually recognize me at lunch from dinner the night before. Do check out this restaurant if you have time.

But it is perfectly ok for a date to go wrong. Then I can improvise and work on other aspects for my date. So I managed to find a 1-4-1 lunch deal on an ordering platform for Madame Fan. The bad thing was there was no dining in it so I had to self pick-up my lunch. It was a small issue because I planned to set up lunch inside my room at Naumi for our lunch date. Plus there was Netflix on Naumi’s TV so all ended well. My lunch date was perfectly executed.

Sharing one of our lunch at Madame Fan, we had the Sunday Dim sum Brunch session, wide range of foods on their menus for this buffet style. Posh setting and service by the staff. Our group of 7, manage to order almost all of their items on the menus, order small potions for sharing else, you can’t have a share of all items. We were greeted by rows and rows of mini photographs and portraits, all of which captured important moments in this building’s history. Some of them are even lighted up to draw your attention! On there level below, there are also elegant photos framed up along the wall to the bathroom. I felt that these added a touch of sophistication to the space, nicely done!
