Maison Heler in Metz The top floor of the Maison Heler is a replica of a mansion “Manfred Heller inherits a beautiful house from his parents,” Stark explains. “As an orphan, he finds himself alone in this mansion surrounded by a large park. Everything is going well for him until he starts to get bored.” “To deal with this boredom, he tries to invent everything,” he continues. “He was an exceptionally rigorous and creative man, not necessarily successful in everything he undertook, but always meticulously guided by an innocent desire to create, with wit and poetry, at all costs.”

#myhiddengems For a city that is based on the borders of Germany, Luxembourg and france. It's bound to have a multicultural influence. I found that evident in the food offerings of this riverside city. The spectacular cathedral alone can make it worth visiting the city. But for those who prefer more reasons, there definitely are several. It's got an historic old town, some picturesque gardens etc. This was summer when I visited Metz. I could see people taking leisurely stroll along the riverbanks, many having a picnic or taking a romantic boat ride on the beautiful river. Things that i too ended up doing during my time there. However, as mentioned earlier the star attraction of this city is the cathedral of Saint-Étienne. Probably amongst the most beautiful and largest Gothic church buildings in France. Explore more unknowns on the road, because I am a person who likes to challenge and discover the beauty of life. Every time I go to a place, I try to feel different things as much as possible.
