[Limited Event] Wisteria Festival at Mandaraji Park
Mandala Temple Park
Mandala Temple, a famous temple in Owari, was built in the early 14th century at the request of Emperor Go-Daigo. It is a park where you can enjoy various flowers, including wisteria.
In particular, the Wisteria Festival is held every year from mid-April to early May, and the park was crowded with many cherry blossom viewers on the first day of Golden Week.
Peonies bloom at the same time as the wisteria, delighting the eyes of visitors.
The azalea flowers, which also began to bloom on the first day of Golden Week, are in full bloom in May.
During the Wisteria Festival, many events are held, such as the "Bride Viewing Festival," and on the Saturday I visited, there were stalls set up in the temple grounds, so I was able to enjoy the festival.
