[Chile] A naturally blue cathedral! The Marble Cathedral
Lake General Carrera (called Lake Argentina on the Argentine side) straddles Argentina and Chile.
The hidden Marble Cathedral, also known locally as Mar Mor, can be accessed from the town of Chile Chico on the shores of Lake General Carrera on the Chilean side.
The Blue Cathedral is a natural sculpture created over many years by the waves and wind shaving the exposed marble.
It's a spectacular sight! The lake is incredibly clear and sparkling blue.
On the other hand, the wind on the lake is very strong, so be careful of seasickness.
It was like riding a roller coaster.
The boat rushes into the cave, which is quite adventurous.
The water is deep, so you can't swim.

The Marble Cathedral (also known as the Mal Mol in the local) lies on the shore of General Carrera Lake in Chile, which is actually lying between Chile and Argentina, is known as Lago Argentina in Argentina, located in Patagonia region. Formed by over 6,000 years of marble erosion lakeside, these unique geological formations were created like a chapel or cathedral with super crystal water. We can approach the cathedral by boat only, but you might get seasick because of the heavy wind.
It's super amazing!
