Lobby and hallway smells really nice because of the diffusers set around the area 🌟 Other available services; saloon & spa, long hours package is available. 🌟 Most importantly; pool is spacious with pool bar always available everytime I visited. Staff will bring towels once you seated and will ask for room number. 🌟 Price on pool bar; can be pricey but I love the vibes, service and the choices they have so I am happy with everything. 🌟 plenty of pool chairs with umbrellas. Kids’ pool also available nearby with connecting slide.

It’s close to beach and you can enjoy your day by staying around the poolside while enjoying cocktails and pizza at their Matahari Pool Terrace. Pool for kids are available here and the area are quite big. They have few services on the hotel such as spa, facial, medi pedi (details and discount for this month available at last slides). Room are spacious with basic amenities. It was a comfortable stay.

Miri is a small township in sarawak sabah where the place where we stayed in Miri Marriort is just a short 5min walk from the hotel towards the little town/village area. The walk down from the hotel towards the village close to sunset, you be able to catch amazing view if the setting sun across the horizon making this a picture perfect breathtaking shot on tanjong lobang beach. And it comes with a private balcony (if you staying at ground floor) which give you direct access to the garden and sea side. Food at hotel restaurant Zest is awesome. Tried Sawarak Laksa and Oxtail stew during my stay - service is attentive and professional. And the taste is surprisingly good! Sunset is spectacular! Hotel is built along the coast line and is at a perfect location, exclusively for hotel guests, to enjoy the sunset view! Highly recommend this property if you are traveling to Miri!

Marriott Miri was fantastic—spacious rooms, great service, and beautiful sea views. We enjoyed peaceful walks at Miri Seaside Park and sunsets along the beaches. Miri, a small town in Sarawak, Malaysia, is located at the southernmost tip of the South China Sea, next to Zengmu Ansha, separated from Hainan Island. There is a Marriott resort hotel hidden by the sea here. The official website says it has been open for 30 years, and the last renovation was in 2004, so I lowered my expectations and just went to explore new maps. From the Mulu National Park Airport, a small plane takes half an hour to reach Miri, and it is very convenient to take a taxi to the hotel. The front desk lady apologized for the visit of the Malaysian royal family that day. The downside is that the rooms are basically locked and cannot be upgraded. The advantage is that it is an honor to be in the same hotel with the royal family. So I had to accept the arrangement of a double bed room by the side wing pool. The hardware conditions in the room are actually not bad, and the maintenance is also passable. In addition to being slightly dim, it is the common problem of old hotels, the bathtub and shower are shared, and it is very uncomfortable to need to stand in the bathtub to shower. Moreover, the bathtub here is very similar to the one used by Japanese families, like a box of bran cake, deep and narrow, which is even more inconvenient. Marriott resort hotels do not set up lounges, but the small town of Miri where the hotel is located is not large, but it is a gathering area for Chinese people, so there is no worry about eating, what Bak Kut Teh Laksa noodles have been tasted, and durian is even lower. The price is less than 10 yuan. Breakfast and dinner are all solved in the hotel's buffet restaurant, highly recommended. Breakfast fully reflects the three major groups of Malaysia, each with its own unique cuisine, I choose Indian, roti with beef curry. Dinner is a seafood buffet, fresh pipa shrimp fried on the spot with spices, ate three plates in a row. The biggest advantage of staying in a pool room is naturally that you can walk barefoot from the balcony to the pool. The temperature here in the morning and evening is about 25 degrees, the underwater temperature is higher, and the pool depth is more than one and a half meters, which is very suitable for swimming. When you are tired, you can climb to the lounge chair and blow the sea breeze. Compared with all crowded in Sanya, the holiday experience here is much better, and the price is much cheaper.
