Miwa Yugawara is an adult hideaway nestled in the quiet mountains, about an hour and a half from the city center. It is a luxurious inn with a tranquil space like a museum, even though it is located in the lush hot spring town of Yugawara. The architectural design is a sophisticated fusion of Japanese and modern. The first thing that greets you when you step inside the building is a bar lounge integrated with a water basin. At night, the water surface is lit up, allowing you to enjoy a drink in a fantastic atmosphere. This time, we stayed in the "Kidachi Twin" room, which is symbolic of its white circular open-air bath. The greenery of the trees outside the window and the bathtub wrapped in soft light. All rooms are equipped with an open-air bath with natural hot spring water, so you can enjoy the hot spring as many times as you like. The interior of the room is minimalist yet warm, and the high-quality space makes use of the texture of wood and stone. You can feel the luxurious attention to detail. In addition to the "Kidachi Twin," there is a lineup of room types to meet a variety of needs, including the 80-square-meter corner suite "Miwa Suite" and the "Sansui Twin" with an oval open-air bath. All rooms are designed with an open space that gives a sense of privacy, allowing you to spend time away from your daily life and calm your mind. Dinner and breakfast are served at the attached restaurant. You can enjoy course meals and Japanese meals made with plenty of local ingredients. The truffle rice served at the end of dinner is especially delicious...! #familytravel The open-air bath in the room was a natural hot spring, so I could bathe whenever I wanted and ended up bathing many times. The food was a fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine, and I thought it had a stronger Japanese element, and although this is purely my personal opinion, it would have been better if it was more Italian. There were 4 liters of mineral water, 2 bottles of cider, 2 bottles of Heartland beer, and 2 bottles of orange juice in the refrigerator in the room, which were free, and we also received a half bottle of champagne as an Ikyu Diamond perk, which we enjoyed while bathing in the hot spring.overall this place is awesome

Opened in 2019, Miwa Yugawara has only 17 rooms in a quiet hot spring resort surrounded by forest and sea. Are you in a museum?! Enter through the entrance that makes you think, and check in leisurely while enjoying the chef's handmade pound cake. ✅The compact but clean, simple and relaxing room comes with 4 liters of mineral water! 🥤🥤🥤🥤The view is so amazing that you'll want to go into the hot spring again and again, so it's really nice to have so much water☺️ ✅There are three types of room: Kidzu, Sansui, and Suite, but there is only one suite, so it's always full...There are two big differences between the twin Kidzu and Sansui✌️Kidzu is on the first floor, so you can see the forest and the bathtub is white and round🛀Sansui is on the second and third floors, so you can see the mountains and sky, and the bathtub is long🛀This time, I chose Sansui because I prioritized the size of the bathtub. It was sunny, so the views were amazing in the evening, night, and morning🩷 ✅The food was delicious, and the staff were very considerate!
