There is a delicious som tam restaurant near the accommodation, and it is also next to a fresh market. This is Moca Hotel on Songprapa Road, Saranakhom Alley. From Don Mueang Airport, walk past Building 1 and cross the skywalk to Wat Don Mueang. It takes about 10 minutes to walk there. The room is clean, the bed is good, there is WiFi, but there is no elevator. The price is cheap, only 500 baht, and there are often promotions on Trip.com. I got the 9 baht promotion this time, very worthwhile. The night I stayed, there was an outdoor movie at the Chinese shrine next door. It reminded me of the old days when we went to watch a movie selling medicine. This hotel is my top choice when I have a connecting flight at Don Mueang.
