The Mokho Lighthouse is located between Gangneung and Donghae in Gangwon-do. There are many different murals and graffiti in the Lighthouse Mural Village in Nongol Wall Lane in Donghae. The village in the park is built on the mountain. Going up along the road and climbing the screw-shaped stairs of the lighthouse, you can enjoy the beautiful Mokho Port. The scenery is very charming. In early spring of 2025, teams from Gangneung, Taebaek, and Gyeongju gathered in Donghae City for a meeting. Our family also visited Donghae City for the first time in years to attend the gathering. We enjoyed delicious food with family members we hadn’t seen in a long time, took a brisk walk at Dochabi-gol, and admired Mukho Lighthouse and Sky Valley from Haerang Observatory. Capturing these moments actively with our phone cameras allowed us to revisit forgotten memories and share stories while looking at the photos. Dear neighbors, make sure to capture plenty of precious memories with your cameras!

There are two Donghae Scallops near Mukho Port. One of them sells various seafood and shellfish wholesale and retail. Before I visited, I trusted them more because they sell wholesale and also run a shellfish grill restaurant. You can see the ocean right in front of the main store, so you can eat grilled shellfish while looking at the ocean!! The seafood is so fresh. It feels like eating a lot of healthy and filling food, so I was very satisfied. Donghae Shellfish Grill Restaurant that changes the perception of grilled shellfish. When you eat while looking at the ocean, the alcohol goes down smoothly.
