This trip, Fern focused on traveling in Bo Kluea District, Ban Sapan and Ban Wer. Since I had little time, I didn't go to Pua District. Try Fern's plan and adjust it accordingly. Following this route, you don't waste time going back and forth. Just visit each spot one by one.
- Have a nice trip -

นาตาทา Cafe’ and Farm Stay
Today, we will take you to Nan Province, Natata Cafe’ and Farm Stay, a secret cafe that will not be secret anymore because the atmosphere here is very good, I tell you. The rice fields are green, you can get a full lungful of nature.
They also serve pizza made from a charcoal oven. You can order it at the shop, no need to make a reservation. I tell you that it is very delicious. The drinks are also inexpensive. I highly recommend it.
The shop also has a parking area inside (no need to park on the side of the road).
The shop is closed every Tuesday-Wednesday.
Open from 9:00-17:00

Wat Nong Bua, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan Province – beautiful and simple
If anyone has ever traveled to Nan and fallen in love with the charm of this slow-paced but intriguing city, a small district like Tha Wang Pha has a peaceful corner worth visiting. Wat Nong Bua is one of them.
Wat Nong Bua may not be as famous as the temples in Nan city, but anyone who has visited will always say, “I’m glad I got to see it with my own eyes.” The most outstanding thing here is the mural paintings by local craftsmen that are still almost intact. They tell stories from the life of the Buddha, interspersed with the lifestyle of the Tai Lue people in the past, in a simple but lively way.
Every line, color, and gesture in the painting is like they are silently telling us stories of people a hundred years ago. There’s no need for much explanation. Just standing and looking, we understand that local art doesn’t have to be grand, but rather gentle and sincere.
Wat Nong Bua is still as peaceful as ever. The villagers still live simple lives and smile at strangers naturally. It’s an atmosphere that you can’t find in a big city, and sometimes, we just need small things like this to fill our hearts.
Want to start your Nan trip in a unique way? Try planning a trip to Tha Wang Pha. And don’t forget to download the Trip.com app to your device. The journey is quite difficult. The owner will be the one to take us to the accommodation. It's quite deep in. The road is an uphill and downhill road.

Pha Thar Waterfall or Hong Vieng Chan Waterfall is a 30-meter high, 6-tiered waterfall in Tham Sakoen National Park. It originates from the Doi Li mountain range and is also the source of the Yom River. You can visit it all year round, but the most recommended season is the rainy season and the end of the rainy season and the beginning of the winter season because you will be able to fully enjoy the beauty of the waterfall. An ancient temple worth visiting in Nan
Wat Phra Koet is located in Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang District (near Hong Chao Fong Kham).
The Ban Phra Koet community is a place to learn how to make “Tung Kha King”, a Lanna wisdom passed down to the next generation.
There is also “Hong Khru Ba Inphong Wisatho”, the former abbot, which is a Ban Phra Koet community museum for tourists to visit. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tung means hanging flags in Lanna culture.
Kha means equal to.
King means oneself or the person who is dedicated.
Auspicious Tung with a flag as tall as the person who made it.
According to the beliefs of the Lanna people, making “Tung Kha King” is done to ward off bad luck or prolong one’s life, alleviate sorrow, illness, and danger, and bring happiness, prosperity, and good things. When finished, it is popular to offer it to monks and perform rituals to bring good fortune.
There is a tram in the temple area that takes tourists to various important places, such as Wat Phumin and the City Pillar Shrine.
The atmosphere inside the temple is quiet. Come visit on weekdays, it's not crowded. #Nan

Wat Huai Wiang Tai Nan
Wat Hua Wiang Tai, Nan Province is an important religious site with beautiful architecture and art.
The principal Buddha image (Phra Chao Metta Luang) is molded in Burmese art, the only temple in Nan city.
This is because this temple was built by a Burmese merchant named Mr. Mong Sa or Mr. Mong Wongkrueng.
The temple wall is molded into two Naga serpents, which are more than 160 years old.
On the day we went, we did not have the chance to walk to the back because the temple was under renovation.
If anyone visits Nan, stop by to pay homage to Phra Chao Metta Luang for good luck.

Doi Saket #Nan #Nan is slow and beautiful.
Doi Saket is located in Pua District, about 22 km from Pua town. It takes about 35 minutes to travel from the town. The route up to Doi Saket is a paved road all the way. There are curves all the way but the route is not very steep. It may be a little narrow, but you can drive up comfortably. All types of vehicles can go up. Most people who come to visit Doi Saket focus on relaxing at the accommodations on the mountain, which are mostly located on the hills and have beautiful views. Stop by to enjoy the atmosphere, sip coffee, and enjoy the mountain view. There are about 3-4 coffee shops on Doi Saket, most of which also serve as accommodations. #DoiSaket #NanNebNeb #Nan
