One of my goals was to collect temple stamps, but I also got my friends involved and we ended up visiting 5 or 6 places. Cats also appeared frequently along the way, and sometimes one of them guided me on the way through the gate, which made for a very relaxing time.

The streets of the entire city were filled with a festive atmosphere, and the various celebrations were dazzling. I strolled through the city center that day and saw many wonderful cultural performances, including traditional dance and music performances, which made people feel the strong cultural atmosphere. This event not only made me understand more about Narita’s history, but also made me feel the cohesion of the community. If you are like me and take a late flight and stay near the airport, then Naritayama is definitely a recommended itinerary the next morning. About a 10-minute drive from Narita Airport, you can immediately feel Japan's full of traditional buildings and streets. There are many local delicacies here, among which [eel rice] is the specialty here. The eel meat is slender and the grilled aroma is fragrant. It is worth tasting. There is also the historic [Xinsheng Temple] nearby. The temple is lush with trees, elegant and peaceful. You can come here to seek peace, love, and career protection, and to bless your wishes to come true. There are fewer foreign tourists in Naritasan, so it doesn’t have an overly commercial atmosphere, and the businesses are quite friendly. If you visit in early July, you can also encounter the [Narita Gion Festival] float parade, and the streets are more lively. It is very lively, and the overall travel time is recommended to be 3-4 hours, which will definitely make your trip worthwhile.
