Hotel: Recommended to stay at scandic continental is opposite the central train station very convenient and is a chain brand quality is more guaranteed although the room is smaller but affordable so right with cheap book to include breakfast ~ breakfast good variety Transportation: Personally, I think Stockholm is a bit small and you can reach all the attractions by foot however some of the metro stations are really pretty and quite special if you have time! Day 1: check in —> King’s Garden After checking in to the hotel, it was already evening. However there are really quite a few people who may have to avoid rush hour The Kings Garden is beautifully lit at night perfect for a walk/sitting chill There is also an ice rink that costs a little cheaper than in Hong Kong Day 2: gamla stan (old town) —> royal palace —> knight island —> mariaberget lookout —> södermalm boring stroll A day of rampage but walking around looking around actually does not feel tired These attractions compared to Knights Island is very beautiful around especially the lake super casual feeling ~ lookout is worth going to can see most of Stockholm landscape good södermalm there are many cafes I randomly entered the atmosphere is good coffee is good to drink can experience the locals very chill fika culture (meaning to eat afternoon tea) Note: I wanted to go to the nobel prize museum but under maintenance and now it should be completed you might as well go! Day 3: Nordic Museum On the third day I can't think of a place to go and I don't want to go too far and too chur So just went to the museum to walk around the city center and buy something and found a cafe to sit however the Nordic Museum is quite a lot to see is recommended to go

Opposite from the Vasa Museum you can find the Nordiska museet. This is a museum dedicated to the wider region in the Nordics. A Magical Day in Djurgården – Stockholm’s Island of Museums During our trip to Stockholm, one of the highlights was spending a full day exploring Djurgården, a beautiful green island in the heart of the city known as the island of museums. It’s the perfect place for families, history lovers, and anyone who enjoys culture, nature, and fun. We started our day at the Vasa Museum, home to the impressive 17th-century warship that sank on its maiden voyage and was salvaged centuries later. The size and preservation of the ship are absolutely breathtaking – a must-see! Next, we visited the ABBA Museum, which was surprisingly interactive and fun even for those who aren’t die-hard fans. You can sing along, dance, and even record your own music video – it’s like stepping into a disco dream. We also explored Skansen, the world’s oldest open-air museum and zoo, where we got a glimpse of traditional Swedish life. There were historical buildings, farm animals, and costumed guides who made history come alive. The kids especially loved the Nordic animals like moose, lynxes, and bears. After lunch at one of the cozy cafés by the waterfront, we walked through the lush park areas and enjoyed the peaceful scenery. Djurgården is not just about museums – it’s also a relaxing escape with nature trails, gardens, and beautiful views of the city and the water.
