I like the buffet breakfast here, this is one of the best I have ever had in Malaysia. They serve a wide selection of dishes, both locals and western. All very delicious especially the Nasi Lemak, Roti Jala, Curry Chicken, Nasi Goreng Kampung, Chicken LoBak, Crispy Pan-fried Turkey Ham and Bread Pudding. The fruits were sweet and fresh, especially the pineapple. It's similar to the pineapple I had in Phuket before, super nice. Others are: the eggs station, the bread and pastries section, salad bar, cornflakes and cereals. Even though it was quite crowded, the service was fast. The staff were efficient and friendly. This is the best hotel in Taiping. Strategic location, just next to Taiping Mall, and within walking distance to Taiping Lake Garden, eateries and souvenir shops. In the evening, you can just walk over to the lake garden for paddle boat riding, see the sunset, or cycling. There is a foodcourt next to it with plenty of stalls selling delicious local dishes. Service was excellent, check in process was smooth and fast, friendly and welcoming staff. The room is spacious with a stunning view of the greenery surroundings, mountain, lake and building. Comfy bed, strong wifi connection, and nice swimming pool. The price is much more affordable compared to bigger city areas. Highly recommended. 🏠 Accommodation 1.Novotel Taiping A place whereby you can have a very nice view of sunset, hotel is attach with Taiping Mall. Free parking by hotel. Not only that the hotel is at the Hub of Taiping, everywhere you can go by walking distance or a short distance drive. No worries about food. 💰Average Price for a Room at Novotel is about RM200 only with Trip.com. Really recommend!

Very nice view ang comfortable for swim, can rilex and chill with view. Breakfast is very delicious and many type of food can eat, nasi lemak , cereal , porridge and bread and so on. Enjoy with the view and facility hotel. Parking also nearby mall so can go to mall nearby . Room is very affordable with price comfortable and best for visitors. Taiping Novotel Hotel is always my 1st choice when I go back, the main reason is the friendly staff that make you feel at home. the aircond in the lobby and room is so comfortable when you step in. The Taiping mall just next to the hotel so convince to pick up things at last minute . there are plenty of foods surrounding the hotel.

Taiping City is a historic city in Malaysia, known for its cultural heritage and natural attractions. It's located in the state of Perak and features sites like the Taiping Lake Gardens and the Taiping Zoo. It is a relax place. If want to escape from the city, Taiping will be a great choice.

The first city in Malaysia named in Chinese - Taiping, has many of Malaysia's firsts, the first railway station, the first railway, the first public library, the first artificially planted lakeside garden, the first government-built bank building. I really like this old-fashioned library, I stayed in it to avoid the rain for an hour or so. Chinese signs can be seen everywhere, and many guild names can't react for a while - Jiaying, Zenglong, Xing'an, Gangzhou... In short, where there are many Fujian and Cantonese immigrants, the food must be delicious and cheap. Taiping has a particularly charming point, there is a lake in the city, which makes people feel like Hangzhou (or Huizhou, which is closer in cultural atmosphere). There are many cities with lakes, but in fact, not all lakes will become a part of city life. Taiping Lake is not only completely unobstructed with the city (there is also a very cheap, night-tourable zoo by the lake), but more importantly, it represents the history of the city: this lake is transformed from a tin mine pit, and tin mines are almost the origin code of all major cities in West Malaysia. The only thing that I can't stand is that there is too much rain here, it is the city with the highest rainfall in Malaysia, and I feel that the biggest rains I have seen in my life are in Taiping (especially considering that I am a typhoon area crowd). The rain was so heavy on the day I left that I couldn't even see the road. The driver who picked us up didn't seem to be nervous at all. He was a little helpless and a little proud: "That's how Taiping is."
