It should be known that I’m petrified out of my mind of heights & yet equally fascinated but see through floor. When I learned that my favorite building on earth has it, it was; quickest flight to SH, no stops!! Firstly this building’s enormity always reminds me how puny I am in the grand scheme of China’s architectural things, goodness. Anyway, walking on here is very exhilarating and scary yet satisfying. You could see the tiny world happening below, a reality check of exactly how far up the ground it is. There’s a 360 degree observation deck where you can see Shanghai all the way to the harbor. There’s cool city illustrations and distance displays for cities around the world. It’s very touristy so you wait a bit for your pictures spot but it’s epic all the same.

Oriental Pearl Tower was amazing! My entire family especially loved the glass floor on the observation deck level. The way down is not a direct root, but divided into sections where you get out of the elevator and have various experiences such as a roller coaster, rotating imax theatre experience, and many moments for great views and learning. there were many souvenirs to purchase as well as two restaurants at the tower. Spend few days in Shanghai recently in May 2025 and visited the obvious popular attractions. Yu Garden: Spent the morning exploring Yu Garden in Shanghai, and it was such a peaceful and beautiful start to the day. It was crowded but felt zen and serene at same time. The traditional architecture and lush greenery really captured the classic charm of the city. Shanghai Tower, Oriental Pearl Tower and River Cruise: In the afternoon, I headed over to Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl Tower. Bought it on a land tour oackage in Shanghai. The views from both towers were incredible, giving a fantastic perspective of Shanghai’s skyline and the bustling city below. It was hazy that day but views were incredible nonetheless. As evening fell, I took a ferry cruise along the river to soak in the city lights and vibrant atmosphere. The illuminated skyline was stunning and really showed off Shanghai’s modern energy. Along the way, I tried the popular rice cake, which was surprisingly tasty and a nice local treat. Love the golden Bund! Really love the golden lightings. Shanghai Disneyland: Next day, visited Shanghai Disneyland and it was a fun and magical experience. The park was lively and full of excitement, with plenty of attractions and shows to keep the day interesting. Queues as expected, very long queues One handy tip: Use Alipay or WeChat Pay almost everywhere I go. I was surprised how little cash I needed. it’s definitely the way to pay around here. Overall, days packed with culture, amazing views, and a bit of adventure. #shanghai

1 Day in Shanghai — Chill out, end with a great view! Start the day by walking around the Oriental Pearl Tower, an iconic landmark that everyone must stop by. Take a photo with the tall buildings. Feel like you are in the middle of a futuristic metropolis. Walk a little further to the Disney Flagship Store, the largest Disney store in China! The outside is cute, the inside is melting money. The items are so cute that your heart will melt. (Remind yourself to set a budget before going in, or you might end up with a bunch of friends.) In the evening, call a car to finish off at The Bund, a popular photo spot. The view of the river from the old to the new buildings contrasts beautifully. Come during the golden hour, it is the peak. The warm, soft light, no matter how you take the photo, it will come out good. I am confused as to why the real view is even more beautiful than the camera. Just 1 day, you can easily enjoy the charm of Shanghai. #Travel itinerary I ate at night and walked around Jeongdae Plaza This is where all the places I wanted to go are gathered 📍Jeongdae Plaza 3rd floor: Holy Land, Miniso, Dongbang Myungju connected passageway 5th floor: Hey Tea Holy Land is the famous towel cake shop I went on a weekday so there were a lot of products They also sell cute lettering cakes so it's fun to look around Miniso is like Daiso in Korea but here the characters have gotten more intense than before?!!! Hey Tea is a famous Chinese fruit drink shop P grapes and mangoes are famous here Personally, the scent was a bit strong so it didn't suit my taste But everyone says the mango is delicious so try the mango cheese foam When you come out to the passageway on the 3rd floor, Dongbang Myungju is visible in a big way and you can take pictures so take a look around while referring to it #Dongbang Myungju

The fruits at the Koreatown Mart were cheap and delicious. When I arrived, it was past 11 PM, so I took a late night bus to People's Square and checked in late. I tried to go to Half-a-drink, which is open until 3 AM, but it was already close to 2 AM when I arrived at my accommodation, so I had a quick dinner at the convenience store! The Family Mart right in front of my accommodation sells a variety of skewers! Most of them don't have a strong spicy taste, so they were good for a late-night snack. And if you like fruit beer, I recommend Rio brand beers👍 💵 Convenience store: 72.70CNY (14,400 won) 2️⃣ Nanjing Donglu Street There are so many shopping streets lined up in Nanjing Donglu! There are many stores that are good for gifts, starting from Miniso, M&MS, Rabbit Candy, and hand cream. If you couldn't buy anything in other tourist areas, you can buy it conveniently in Nanjing Donglu! 3️⃣ Jiande North Bundang Branch Jiande is located all over Shanghai! Hongmichan is one of the representative Cantonese dishes, and it's a dish where shrimp meat is wrapped in a thin fried spring roll skin and then wrapped again in a thin rice cake. The crispy and chewy textures and the soft and rich taste of shrimp are the best! It's the best dish to have with a glass of beer, but since Dojeondeok doesn't sell beer separately, you can buy it at a convenience store or a nearby store like Hot Maxx and take it with you.
