I wanted to try glamping!!! So I went!!! The cost performance was the best, so I was very satisfied personally😇🧡 ⁡ ⁡ ✔️Recommended points ⚫︎The price is cheap for glamping👛 ※A weekend stay with 2 meals included was about 24,000 yen for 2 people! (I booked through Jalan and used the nationwide travel discount, so it was less than 20,000 yen, so I stayed for less than 10,000 yen per person) ⚫︎Welcome drinks, sweets, and coffee are free☕️ ※When I went there, there was red and white wine, lactic acid bacteria drinks, Umaibo, and melon bread cookies🍪 Each tent has a coffee mill, so you can bring beans from the front desk and drink freshly ground coffee! ⚫︎The BBQ (dinner) ingredients are not only meat, but also seafood, cheese fondue, paella🥘, and a wide variety of other things! I went to Awamatano Falls in Isumi-gun, Chiba Prefecture! The water was muddy due to rain in the morning, so we couldn't play in the water, but you can usually enter the pool and play there ^_^ There were rare dragonflies and snakes, and it was a place rich in nature. And I was surprised that there were no mosquitoes. The fresh greenery is beautiful, but the autumn leaves are the best. The best time to see them is from late November to early December. Built in the 16th Century and subject to various restorations over the centuries, this small but nonetheless imposing stronghold operates as a cultural and historical showcase for the area. The castle that overlooks the town of Otaki contains armory, artifacts, currency and craftwork from the era. It also boasts a commanding view of the surrounding district. Otaki Castle Museum admission: Adults ¥200, Students ¥100, free admission for children under high school age and adults 64 and over. Open from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

📍SHINRA YORO VALLEY Address: 589-2 Odashiro, Otaki-machi, Isumi-gun, Chiba Prefecture, 298-0265 Located in the secluded Yoro Valley of Chiba Prefecture, this hot spring is about a 3-hour train ride from Tokyo. Nestled within the valley, it offers breathtaking views and a truly scenic hot spring experience. The rare black hot spring water is slightly viscous and is said to be great for your skin. With rates starting at 58,000 yen per night including two meals, it’s quite reasonable. I stayed in the Classic Wing, which is a renovated section of an old hot spring inn. While my room didn’t have a view of the river, I could see the lush greenery and the valley. The lounge offers unlimited drinks and snacks. Private hot springs and the heated pool are free to use, while the sauna is available for an additional fee. If you request in advance, they can arrange a pick-up service from Yoro Valley Station. The inn has only been open for two months, so make sure to visit before it becomes too popular! 🥰

Shige Camp in Otaki, Chiba Prefecture Features a sauna building and a Goemon-style bath by the river! Enjoy a bath while listening to the gentle sound of the river and sipping on beer! Recommended points: A popular tunnel for taking photos The old and new tunnels are a mysterious two-story structure. The east side is Mukaiyama Tunnel, and the west side is Kyoei Tunnel. If you enter the tunnel from Chiba Prefectural Route 81 and go down, you can see the mysterious two-tiered tunnel. I went to "Old Folk House Guesthouse Watoya" in Otaki Town, Chiba Prefecture! An old folk house has been renovated and remodeled into a guesthouse. This guesthouse offers breakfast and dinner, which is rare for a guesthouse, and we cook with guests using ingredients from the town. The rice cooked in a kettle was delicious! I traveled from Tokyo to Otaki by train to attend an event at the Otaki Herb Garden. I took the JR Wakashio Limited Express from Tokyo Station to Ohara Station (it shook surprisingly much!) and then the Isumi Railway, which I often see on TV, from Ohara Station to Otaki Station. It was the season when cherry blossoms and rape blossoms were in bloom, so the view from the train window was beautiful. I didn't have time to take a photo, but there were also some cute pheasants strolling around. #IsumiRailway #Otaki
