Koh Panyee is a floating village located in Thailand. I stopped there during my tour to have lunch, and we were given some time to explore it. Walking through the village felt like a maze, with narrow paths connecting homes, shops, a big mosque and even a school. All built on wooden platforms above the water. It was an amazing experience, I loved to see how people live there. This is a famous Floating Village in Phang Nga Bay Thailand. The community is Muslim. The houses where the villagers live are built on stilts over the sea, you can see really old houses made by wood and some others made by concrete. You can find lots of souvenirs shops , restaurants and even I found a really fancy coffee shop. It is really interesting to see the floating football pitch, I wonder what they do if the ball scape from the pitch🤔 I recommend to come here in a combined tour as otherwise you will have to rent a long tail boat and unless you are a group it will probably cost you much more. I think an hour is enough to walk around.
