We chose Perhentian Island for our annual vacation and yes we stayed at Marriot Perhentian Resort & Spa for 3days 2nights. It was a wonderful and enjoyable stay with their amazing view, facility and top notch hospitality. Their staff was very polite and friendly welcoming us with kompang at the jetty. They provide buggy service all around the resort. We had a smooth check in during arrival and we get the room ready early. Their breakfast is nice and we can enjoy our breakfast with view. We will definitely come again to this resort.

(It would be best to spend a day in Malacca. I did some research, but my family didn't want to go, so we didn't.) 🕐️DAY 4: Fly from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu in the morning. Book an airport transfer in advance, and take a car and then a boat to Perhentian Island. 🕐️DAY 5-9: Stay on Perhentian Kecil for 5 nights. Snorkel on the hotel beach every day and see all kinds of fish. The pool is a great temperature, and swimming is super comfortable. Adults can work out, do yoga, or go to the spa. There are also areas for kids to play, and teens can play computer games. If you're picky about taste and hygiene, choose a high-end restaurant. If you just want to fill up, go to FamilyMart or 7-Eleven. 3. Register on the official website in advance. Entering and leaving the country is very convenient, so there's no need to worry. 4. Confirm the hotel ferry times in advance, and try to choose flights accordingly. Otherwise, taking a small boat can be a bit exciting, and I didn't dare take any photos. 5. Exchange MYR in advance at the Bank of China or the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. MYR 500 per person is enough. Some stores accept Alipay, UnionPay, or Visa. Overall, costs are higher than in Thailand but lower than in Hainan. It's worth a second visit. 6.
