It is spacious and easy to navigate, queues at the immigration were minimal, however, the wait time was pretty long due to slow work of the officials. Otherwise, everything was smooth and quick. There are some shops with Indian styled goods, which are cool to have a look at, but overall duty-free store in this particular airport was not that exciting. The weight area by the gates is very comfortable, with lots of lounge chairs to actually lay down on. And of course, more regular common chairs was all sort of add-ons like electric outlets.

Hello, on April 14, 2025, we traveled to Leh Ladakh by Air India flight at 17.55 and arrived in New Delhi at 20.55. This airline provided food on board, which was Indian food. We could eat a little bit of it 😅 The atmosphere on the plane was good, and there was no Indian smell that people are worried about. Then, we waited for the connecting flight to Leh. We had to pick up our bags to reload them. Just follow the signs for domestic transfer. There will be staff in that area to reload our bags. Our connecting flight to Leh Ladakh was at 6.45 and arrived at around 8.10. Delhi was the final stop of my ten-city tour in India. My primary purpose was to catch a connecting flight and do some leisurely sightseeing, so I didn't pay much attention to many attractions. Most of the time, I just wandered around the city, and India Gate was one of the places I visited on the first night. India has two India Gates in total, with the other one located in Mumbai. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and a gym, among other amenities, which need no further introduction. ✅ Pros: The hotel provides a full range of toiletries, slippers, and electric kettles, and having hot water in Delhi is truly a lifesaver. Of course, there are also the customary Hilton welcome snacks, fruits, tea, and purified water. Being cautious about eating in India, the Hilton's abundant breakfast allowed me to indulge in food without worry, and it was here that I rediscovered the joy of being a foodie. The room service is also commendable, as they were able to deliver fried noodles to my room even at midnight. ❌ Cons: Compared to Hilton hotels in other countries, this one falls short in terms of room decoration, size, and overall environment. The price is not much cheaper either, making the cost-performance ratio rather low. However, accommodations in India tend to be polarized in terms of price and quality, with a clear distinction between the rich and the poor. In conclusion, when visiting India, I would recommend staying in a better hotel, as even the best homestays may not be as safe, convenient, or sanitary, especially for women. India. Humayun’s Tomb - an impressive tomb that was built in 1557 A.D. entrance cost 600₹. 2. Safdarjung's Tomb - this sandstone tomb was built in 1754 in the late Mughal Empire style. Entrance cost 300₹. 3. Lodhi garden - City park situated in New Delhi. Spread over 90 acres (360,000 m2) including tombs and great #architecture. Free entrance. 4. Delhi gate - One of the #iconic symbols of the city. Free entrance. 5. Jama Masjid - one of the largest #mosque in India. Entrance cost 600₹ 6. Red fort - a unique #unesco world heritage site from the 17th century. Entrance cost 600₹ The best way to reach those sites is by #uber or #subway. Enjoy :)

Visited New Delhi India for a couple of days for business and had a chance to fly out from their Indira Gandhi international airport. The security is tight as you need to have a boarding pass or ticket to physically get into the terminal. Good to plan to be at this airport 3 hours prior to flight time to give yourself some time if delay at security screening etc. There is some nice statues of Elephants at the main terminal. Once inside the transit area, the airport also look quite well maintained.

Flying back from Delhi Airport India and had breakfast at Dilli Streat cafe in transit area. It serve pretty good Indian cuisine. The servicing staffs were attentive and provide good service. The cafe was nicely decorated and feel cosy enough for a relaxing break before any flight. Ordered chicken tikka malai and masala tea, they were very good. Highly recommended to visit this cafe at level 2 of transit departure area if you are flying out from here.

At first, I was a bit scared, but it was actually much easier than I thought. (P.S. But the security check was slow as usual.) The airport is clean and spacious. Shopaholics will love it. There are many shops to stop by. You don't have to worry about food. It's juicy. There's even a bar! Most importantly!! The airport now has free Wi-Fi. It didn't have it before! But they upgraded it.
