You can walk along it without going back. There are not many tourists and it is very comfortable. You need to go up and down the mountain by stairs. On the way back, you can get off at the Wind and Rain Corridor Bridge and walk slowly back to the ancient town. It is my favorite attraction.

It is best to buy a ticket in the ancient town to visit the dark river, you need to buy a car ticket, it takes about 20 minutes by car, walking is not recommended, because the entrance and exit of the dark river are not in the same place.
