Newly opened rainforest wild Asia in Mandai adds on to the collection of wildlife parks in Mandai (after the Singapore Zoo , Bird Paradise , River Wonder and Night Safari). The area has revamped to a wildlife and nature paradise. Tucked away in the green pockets of Mandai , the new rainforest wildlife Asia is at another level, focusing on forest trails and boulders walk as the main focus , with animal sightings at milestones checkpoints to reward trekkers. The cave experience at the end of the trail is the icing on top of the cake and gives a wonderful surprise to trekkers. It’s amazing how the area has been intelligently designed to infuse so many elements of nature into the entire area, with well thought trails with different difficulty levels to suit all ages. Definitely our favourite and a place to revisit.

Its the latest addition to the existing parks under Mandai Wildlife Reserve! The concept is different from that of a zoo (where the animals are right in front of you). You have to spot the animals who may be camoflaged and/or resting under the shade in their enclosure. I think there is a higher chance of spotting them if you take the Forest Trek. While younger children may enjoy the Singapore Zoo more, tweens and teens may prefer Rainforest Wild due to the adventure elements. There is a rock wall, bouncy net and canopy jump. The (man-made) caves with some small animals were also very interesting. I was definitely freaked out by the scorpions and snakes! #summervacay

A unique adventure at Rainforest Wildasia Singapore with diverse wildlife. Beautiful man-made cave fully air conditioned! It’s clean, well-organized and enclosures were beautifully designed to mimic the natural habitats of the animals. You can either take the elevated boardwalk paths (for strollers, wheelchair or wagon) or trekking path. The animals are so close and it was pure adrenaline! #singaporeguide Very unique type of zoo. Forget your typical stroll through animal enclosures. Instead of being herded along a set path, you literally get to choose your own adventure. I cross logs, navigated streams, and felt like I’ve genuinely explored a wild rainforest. It’s such a refreshing change and makes every visit feel unique. I spotted a deer just casually grazing near the path, and then later, watching langurs swing right past me at eye-level in "The Canopy." park is designed to give both animals and visitors space, but also these amazing, close-up experiences. From the moment you step into the misty Entrance Gorge, it feels like you've been transported. The Cavern, inspired by Sarawak's Mulu Caves, is just mind-blowing – the scale and detail are incredible. Remember good walking shoes :)

The park is uniquely designed and is the most distinctive park we have ever visited. Not only are there different animals and plants, but the way of viewing them is also different from that of ordinary zoos. The routes are also divided into flat and challenging routes. We chose the challenging route, which really felt like entering the Amazon. It was very interesting and the children also had a great time because they could experience the plots that they usually only see in cartoons in person, and it was very safe. The last attraction in the park is the stalactite cave, which is very shocking and I really recommend it. There are several restaurants in the park. It is also recommended to bring your own water bottle. There are many self-service water dispensers in the park. Wear hiking clothes, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and bring binoculars if necessary.
