As soon as we arrived, I was blown away by the towering 42.7-meter golden statue of Lord Murugan. It’s the tallest of its kind in the world and stands proudly at the foot of the 272 rainbow-colored steps leading up to the Temple Cave. Climbing the steps with my friend cheering me on was such a fun and slightly sweaty challenge—but so worth it! At the top, the cave opens up into a breathtaking limestone cavern filled with shrines and cool, natural light pouring in from above. The spiritual energy here is strong—you can really feel it, especially if you come during festivals like Thaipusam, when the whole place comes alive with color and devotion. We also explored the lesser-known Ramayana Cave, filled with vivid sculptures and glowing lights that tell the story of the Ramayana epic. The Dark Cave nearby is another gem, with rare rock formations and guided eco-tours (when available). The area is full of life—cheeky monkeys, street vendors, and delicious snacks everywhere. Getting there was super easy too; we just took the KTM Komuter train directly to the Batu Caves station. Getting There - Use public transport called KTM, from KL Sentral to KTM Batu Caves. Then just walk around 5 minute to main gates. Attractions - visiting museum and feeding pigeon at ground floor, playing with monkey, 200+ colourful stairs, there also a temple inside the caves. amazing experience. I don't think there are many tourist spots in Kuala Lumpur, but I came here because I saw Pink Mosque and this place on the internet and social media! Climbing the colorful stairs, a mysterious cave and Hindu world unfolds before me. This time I chose Trip.com to take care of food, drinks, entertainment, hotels and accommodation all at once! It's really convenient~ This time I chose a residential area near the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur (it's an apartment-style) which is very comfortable~ There is a refrigerator, washing machine, and a dry and wet separated bathroom. Although the sound insulation is not very good (we stayed for 7 days and clearly felt that there was a crying child next door in the last three days 😭) The swimming pool on the rooftop was also being renovated. I wanted to take beautiful photos, but it didn’t matter. I ate a lot of Malaysian delicacies ~ it was really worth it! It is super safe to use Trip website to order large and small trips ❤️

Really easy to find once you get the train from KL it’s straight off. Cheap to get in paid 15 ringgit for caves. Food and drinks on sight. Lots of monkeys but wasn’t too busy.
