#timetotravel I’m not sure what harder? Getting there or spelling the word? 😉 One thing for sure, I was captivated by its romantic, picturesque sights. I was here on my long wkend stop over from Bled. I would say, it’s one of those cities I exceptionally adore. Love the vibrance on days, and the serenity in the night. Although it may be enough to go around on a day trip, I highly suggest 2-3days to fully immersed the city.

This 33.3 meters long bridge was built in the beginning of the 20th century, when Ljubljana was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Dragon bridge was also one of Europe's earliest reinforced concrete bridges and the first such bridge in Ljubljana. It was the first bridge in Slovenia to be paved with asphalt. It's a small capital, and all the attractions are on both sides of this river. Honestly, I'm not really interested in going to Slovenia 🇸🇮 I decided to stop by Slovenia while I was in Croatia. The capital, Ljubljana, has canals reminiscent of Amsterdam. It's a beautiful city. When I show pictures to Europeans, they don't know where it is, which is why they're so interested lol Ljubljana is famous for the Dragon Bridge! There's a cool dragon at the entrance to the bridge. It's a great city to relax in, visiting churches and buying fruit 🍎 at the open-air market! The crispy cake with custard filling is apparently a Slovenian specialty. Hotel Galleria is unexpectedly small and exquisite, with chic interior decoration, antique furniture, fireplaces and crystal chandeliers. There is also a cozy little garden in the courtyard where you can drink coffee, which is quite pleasant. The hotel has 20 guest rooms, each of which is different, including attic rooms, sloping-roof rooms, formal family rooms, etc. The decoration is simple and warm, which is quite consistent with the impression of Eastern Europe. The attic room has a view of the castle, and there is an art market at the fountain square at the entrance on weekends. The overall price-performance ratio is good, after all, prices in Eastern Europe are relatively cheap, but the only drawback is that there is no elevator.
