Rating: Many people recommend the Michelin restaurant in the old town of Phuket, Thailand. The main dish is curry crab. I originally thought that Michelin in Thailand was more down-to-earth. Raya feels like dining at a friend's house. The overall layout and decoration are very exquisite. Although it is an old bungalow, the overall feeling is bright and western. Especially the balcony dining area on the second floor. Although there is no air conditioning, there is a cool autumn breeze blowing in Phuket at the end of September. As long as you don't go down to the balcony on the second floor, it's a good choice. Dining here is not only comfortable but also great for taking photos.
Curry crab 400 baht (small), 600 baht (large). The size of the portion should be determined based on the number of people.
Pure crab meat scrambled eggs, sweet and slightly salty but not spicy. Very suitable for eating with rice. NT$400 per plate for two people with some white rice, stir-fried vegetables and tom yum soup. It's probably enough for a small appetite.
Thai braised pork 350 yuan
About 4-5 pieces of pork belly, and very thick and large. It tastes very much like Nanyang spices. The salty, sweet and melt-in-the-mouth taste goes well with rice. It is recommended that if there are only two people dining, you can choose between curry crab and Thai braised pork. Although the two dishes have different tastes, they have the same attributes. Just bibimbap.
Although the hot and sour sauce can alleviate the saltiness and greasiness.
Thai pork dishes are not oily and have a strong taste, unlike pig trotters. The braised pork is very salty. Although the first bite is delicious, the second bite will stop you from being greasy, salty, and sweet. It's a bit like eating wagyu beef barbecue. Too delicious to eat too much.
Stir-fried tiger prawns with chilli and salt 200 yuan/piece
This is the meal with the highest unit price. The tiger prawns are 200 yuan each. They are very big and chewy. There is no room for rice bowls in the store. It is said to be chili, but it is actually salt and pepper and not spicy. The salt and pepper flavor makes the tiger prawn meat more fragrant and sweet. The average girl might be fed by a tiger shrimp.
Fried fish with fish sauce 550 baht (small) 650 baht (large)
The quality of the fish is very good, although I don’t know what kind of fish it is. But it tastes like garlic meat. The fish itself is sweet and soft, and the fried outer skin is so crispy that you can even eat the fish bones. The local fish sauce sauce is very sweet and generous. Although it is delicious, it will also be very greasy at the end of the meal. It needs to be paired with the accompanying hot and sour sauce and Thai mango salad to achieve balance.
Stir-fried vegetables 100 baht
It's a big plate and tastes good.
After the meal, there is a plate of mango which is very delicious. It is not too sweet and tastes like eating cantaloupe without moisture.
The overall dining experience requires attention to the local salty taste, and the food is well matched, making it a restaurant worth a return visit. And the service staff are very friendly. There are always 60 minutes left before closing time and we still serve customers with a smile.
