🚗Transportation strategy:
✈️Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport has increasingly more routes. After getting off the plane, you can take the airport bus to major locations in the city, or take a taxi or choose to transfer by bus. 🚄Quanzhou Station has many trains, making it convenient to arrive from surrounding cities. In the city, public transportation can basically meet travel needs. You can also ride shared bicycles to travel through the streets and alleys of the ancient city and experience the local life atmosphere. If you want to go to scenic spots such as Qingyuan Mountain, it would be more convenient to take a taxi or take the scenic area special bus 😜.

In the morning, we will first go to Kaiyuan Temple to admire the magnificence of the East and West Towers and feel the solemnity of the thousand-year-old temple. The buildings and Buddha statues in the temple are of great historical value and artistic charm. Next, visit West Street, one of the oldest streets in Quanzhou. Many traditional southern Fujian buildings are preserved on both sides of the street. There are various specialty shops, food stalls and handicraft shops. You can eat and walk around and experience the city life of Quanzhou. After tasting delicious food on West Street at noon, head to the Bell Tower to check in at this iconic building in Quanzhou. It’s a great place to take great photos. In the afternoon, visit the Quanzhou Overseas Transportation History Museum and the Fujian-Taiwan Relations Museum to gain a deeper understanding of Quanzhou’s important position on the Maritime Silk Road and its deep roots with Taiwan. Day 2️⃣: Qingyuan Mountain - Xiapu Village - Luoyang Bridge
In the morning, we head to Qingyuan Mountain, where the natural scenery is beautiful, with many clear springs, strange rocks and cliff carvings. We can also visit Taoist cultural relics such as Laojun Rock, breathe fresh air, exercise, and feel the tranquility and beauty of nature. In the afternoon, we went to Xiapu Village to admire the unique oyster shell house architecture. The local Xiapu women wore flowers on their heads and traditional costumes, which was very distinctive. You can experience the hairpin flower circus, feel the folk customs of southern Fujian, and taste fresh seafood. Arrive at Luoyang Bridge in the evening, enjoy the beautiful scenery of this ancient cross-sea stone bridge in the sunset, learn about its architectural history and cultural value, and feel the wisdom and creativity of the ancients.

At Kaiyuan Temple, I was moved by the ancient architecture and profound religious culture, and my heart became calm and pious. The bustle and bustle of West Street made me feel the passion for life of the people of Quanzhou. The Quanzhou Overseas Transportation History Museum and the Fujian-Taiwan Relations Museum gave me a new understanding of the city’s historical status. The natural beauty of Qingyuan Mountain intoxicated me, the folk customs of Xiapu Village opened my eyes, and the majestic Luoyang Bridge made me admire the wisdom of the ancients. The city of Quanzhou attracted me with its unique charm. I was reluctant to leave and looked forward to coming back next time to explore more unknowns and beauty.
