Above is the Huizhou travel guide When we came to Huizhou, we stayed at the Sunrise Salt Crystal Hotel and bought a package, 1. It includes tickets to Niutouling Scenic Area (Reef Bar), which is super photogenic. It's better to go to the Reef Bar around 4 o'clock to avoid the sun (we went at 2 o'clock and it was scorching hot), but the photos turned out great. 2. The package also includes access to the swimming pool, hot springs, and breakfast for two. There are seven hot spring pools (quite nice, we went during meal times so there weren't many people). The hotel's breakfast is very rich and varied, the most abundant hotel breakfast I've ever had. However, the only downside of this hotel is that it hosts many tour groups of elderly people, so it was very crowded and the stay experience wasn't great. But the beautiful scenery makes up for it. Make sure to check the weather before you travel. Sunny days are best for photos. If you want to see the sunrise, wake up at 6 AM. The sun rises around 6:30.

We went in winter when the weather wasn't great; it was overcast all day, but it didn't affect our mood to go out and have fun. Since we were with our parents, we tried to stay on the same floor. Our booked room types weren't next to each other, so we got a free upgrade. The Salt Crystal Hotel and the Silver Sand Hotel are next to each other, and they are generally the same, except for different room decorations. I prefer the decor style of the Salt Crystal. The Silver Sand has a minimalist Chinese style. P11-P14 are room photos without filters. 🛏️【Hotel Strategy】 🚗Transportation Strategy: Self-driving is the most convenient. It's also easy to go to Turtle Bay and the scenic lookout, as the hotel we stayed at is at the very end of Shuangyue Bay. I'm not sure how easy it is to call a Didi. 🌟Highlights: Next to the hotel is the Bull Head Ridge scenic area, which is also where the Reef Bar is located. Staying at the hotel allows you to swipe your room card for free entry, and it's definitely worth visiting and taking photos. The hotel also offers boating, but there doesn't seem to be much scenery to see. ⛱Hotel Environment: Hard to say, it's very much like an office building. The main entrance leads to the front desks of the two hotels on either side, and there's still construction going on around. They say there's a hot spring, but it's just seven small ones, which can be quite awkward when crowded. 🛏Room Facilities: The room has an unbeatable sea view, but it doesn't seem like there's any difference in the room facilities due to the upgrade. It's just that the floor is higher. We stayed on a floor in the teens, and at night we could enjoy fireworks from below without it being too noisy. The room doesn't have a coffee machine but offers a few bottles of free soft drinks. The room has a wet and dry separation, and it's better to use your own bath products. There's a ceiling fan that blows warm air in winter, which is very hot. It took us a while to figure out how to turn it off. 🖼Restaurant Environment: The package we bought included breakfast and dinner, both buffet style. Breakfast is okay, but dinner really doesn't have much to offer. There's very little seafood, no oysters, and salmon is limited. You have to fight for a seat in the restaurant, as both hotels share one, and it's very crowded. 🍽Dining Recommendations: There aren't many restaurants around here, and you have to drive a bit further to find more. Ordering takeout is not particularly convenient, so I don't have any special recommendations. Most are seafood restaurants—just be careful not to get ripped off. 📌Little Tips: Travel off-peak, travel off-peak, travel off-peak! I can't stress this enough. Many Hong Kong compatriots are gradually moving deeper into the mainland, and for a better experience, it's important to avoid the crowds. I recommend staying at the Sunrise Salt Crystal Hotel in Shuangyue Bay.|||I stayed in Shuangyue Bay, Huizhou for 3 nights, 2 nights at the Salt Crystal Hotel, and 1 night at the Tan Yue Haosheng Hot Spring Hotel. I recommend the Salt Crystal Hotel for its newness, and the rooms face a super large seascape, with over 180 degrees of sea view. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the glass doors of the balcony are designed to be hidden, which means you can have a full balcony without glass. The hotel's buffet is rich and they make sure to replenish it in time. The internet-famous Reef Bar is indeed a great place for photos, but the hot springs are not worth soaking in, and other amenities such as the gym and children's playground are not impressive, not worth experiencing. So for fun, besides the beach, there's the internet-famous Niu Tou Ling. Climbing to the top of the tower, listening to the waves, and looking at the distant horizon, it feels as if all the troubles of the world don't exist. I won't recommend Tan Yue, it's too old, and the rooms are not impressive. The hotel facilities are somewhat enjoyable, but when I went there was no one there, and having all the facilities to myself couldn't make up for the lack of a buffet dinner. Although the hot pot set meal is also delicious, with children, I prefer a buffet.
