[Recommended spots]
1. San Vicente Marine Reserve and Olango Island
I tried to go to Olango Island by regular boat from Hilton Port, but it only leaves from one other place? A man in the area tried to sell me a boat, and I didn't want to be ripped off, so I tried to refuse, but I was worried.
In the end, we were able to go directly to San Vicente Marine Reserve by boat, and we didn't have to move around Olango Island, so it was a great choice for a family with children😊
By the way, I was told that it was 3,000 pesos for the round trip boat + motorcycle.
Since we went direct, we didn't have to use the motorbike, but the guy was kind and stayed with my child when we went into the sea, and we could use the life jacket, so we were satisfied and paid 3000 pesos plus a tip.
However, when we reached San Vicente, a mysterious man came and acted as a lifeguard with the child, but he tried to sell us sea urchins and coconuts. I was surprised when he asked me for 3500 pesos at first, but I paid 1000 pesos. I feel like I was ripped off a little, but I'm okay with him watching my child.
People who go there should be careful.
2. J Park Island Resort
It's a five-star hotel with many pools, playground equipment and slides, so I think everyone from preschoolers to older children can enjoy it.
There is also a beach at the back, so you can enjoy the sea.
Maybe because the room was available, they upgraded me to a suite room with a city view.
I arrived after 12 noon, so I thought I would have to wait to check in, but I was lucky to be able to get into my room right away ✌️
