A famous late-night snack spot in Singapore, full of satay and beer. Even late at night, there are always a lot of people. If you want to eat barbecue on Satay Street, it is recommended to queue up and order first, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time. If you are with a large group, you can also reserve a seat first, otherwise it is easy to be left without a seat on holidays.
The skewers themselves are marinated, which reduces the fishy smell. The store will provide an extra bowl of sauce for dipping, which will make the taste stronger. But overall, I like the grilled shrimp the most, which is very fresh and sweet! ! !
We ordered a lot because there were so many people 🤣 and ended up being super full. You can consider whether to order more food from other stalls. There are many choices at other stalls, including Fujian prawn noodles, Malaysian, Indian and other international dishes.
(We just had the satay skewers and beer, but we had dinner)
🕰️Business hours: 24 hours (but many stores are closed from 20:00 to 23:00)
Satay Street: Weekdays 19:00~03:00, Weekends and holidays 15:00~03:00

Everywhere you go, you'll find delicious grilled satay skewers.
Unlike many popular hawker centers, Satay Street does not prohibit hawking. As you enter their territory, staff from each stall will approach you. Personally, I think that when every stall makes the same thing, there isn't much difference in quality or taste. We chose stalls #7&8, and they helped us find a table. I believe the stalls reserve seats themselves, so if you move napkins or umbrellas on a table, you might get scolded by the staff or locals, or both. If you have a peanut allergy, this place is not for you. The food, tables, and streets are covered in peanut sauce... stay away. The satay stalls only start operating at 7:00 PM. You should aim to arrive around 6:45 PM to start ordering satay. Going earlier or later can help you avoid long lines. Buy beer from the stalls inside the hawker center. Bring your own napkins and/or wet wipes, as they do not provide any.

The skewers here are delicious, tender, well marinated and slightly charred to perfection. Whether it's chicken or beef, each skewer is packed with intense flavors. The peanut sauce is creamy, nutty and slightly sweet, and goes well with the meat.
🦐 Grilled seafood is another must-try! Fresh prawns and squids are grilled right in front of you, juicy and full of smoky flavor. This is a street food dish that is cooked to perfection.
🌟 The atmosphere is lively and friendly, and the staff are friendly even during busy times. It's a place where locals always line up, which is a good sign.

Lau Pa Sat
Lau Pa Sat street check point at best satay 7&8 I can't remember the price but the taste is very different from our home (I don't eat beef). It's a bit sweet. I personally like shrimp more than chicken but the sauce is similar to our home. I want everyone to try it.

Day 3 Citywalk in Singapore: Must-Try Bak Kut Teh at Pepper Soup, Lau Pa Sat
#springitinerary
On Day 3 of my Citywalk in Singapore, I made a flavorful stop at Lau Pa Sat and tried the much-talked-about Pepper Soup stall. Their signature bak kut teh was absolutely worth the hype—rich, peppery, and full of comforting herbal depth.
The tender pork ribs and aromatic broth made it one of the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s the perfect meal to recharge after walking the city streets. If you’re in town and craving something authentically Singaporean, Pepper Soup at Lau Pa Sat is a must-try spot. This bowl of goodness will leave you warm, satisfied, and wanting more.

Located in the CBD, this night market is set in a restored Victorian-style hawker center. You can find a variety of international cuisines, including charcoal-grilled skewers. Stalls 7-8 are the most famous, offering refreshing Tiger draft beer and canned drinks! You can also enjoy Singaporean specialties like Laksa and seafood dishes. It's a good idea to bring wet wipes and disposable gloves.

Lau Pa Sat - iconic hawker centre in heart of Singapore
Must-visit in Singapore for tasty skewers!
Lau Pa Sat is located in the heart of the city, not far from the CBD. Nearest MRT at Telok Ayer or Downtown on the Downtown line.
They're well known for their tasty meat and prawn skewers (all stands charge the same price), but make sure not to forget Asian classics like nasi lemak! After your order, you'll receive a buzzer to remind you to collect and pay.

Must visit Singapore Satya Street Taste Festival
#CanadaFlightEvent Singapore Sata Street, a must-visit food spot!
In Singapore, Sata Street is famous for its local food, especially sata. This place is lined with various sata specialty stores, so it is a place where you can truly experience the traditional taste of Singapore.
Sata is a dish of tender meat slices grilled in fragrant seasoning and peanut sauce, and its taste is truly exquisite. You can taste various types of sata, such as chicken, beef, and lamb, at Sata Street. In particular, the harmony of peanut sauce and meat is so perfect that you will want to keep eating after one bite. In addition, there are fresh seafood sata and vegetarian sata, so anyone can enjoy it.
Another charm of this place is the atmosphere of the street. The fragrant smell of sata wafts from all over the street, and the sight of people sitting and enjoying delicious food gives a really warm and friendly feeling. It is a popular spot among locals, so the atmosphere is good, and you can feel the real taste of Singapore.
How to get there
Sata Street is located near Bugis Street. It is a 5-minute walk from Bugis MRT Station. This area, which is home to a variety of restaurants, is especially lively during the evening hours and is a great place to enjoy delicious food at night.

Enjoying beer and satay in the middle of the road🍺 Lau Pa Sat Satay Street🍢
#SoutheastAsiaTravel #SingaporeTravel
At 7 o'clock, they suddenly block the middle of the road between high-rise buildings with barricades and start setting up tables and chairs.
The experience of enjoying delicious satay and a glass of beer outdoors between high-rise buildings was truly unique and great.
It felt like enjoying a summer night market!
No. 7 and No. 8 are usually famous among Koreans, so they have the longest lines,
but after eating at No. 7 and No. 8, I wanted to eat more shrimp, so I ordered from No. 6, and for some reason... The shrimp at No. 6 were plumper and saltier.
I also recommend No. 6!

Lau Pa Sat is a must try in Singapore 🇸🇬
#myhiddengems I had a friend visit us in Singapore and after much touring in Gardens by the Bay, we wrapped it up with a nice dinner at Lau Pa Sat. Of course you got to try the satay stalls where they block the road after 6:00pm for all diners. Most especially please try stalls number 7 and 8 as those are the best ones based on all TripAdvisor’s guide and recommendations. They usually offer a set of chicken, lamb and prawn and that’s exactly what one should try. You partner it with fried rice from the Chinese restaurants around plus drinks of lime 🍋🟩 tea or lemon tea. Perfect ending to a wonderful day! So make you sure you drop by next time.

Satay Street at Lau Pa Sat
#familytrips2024
The satay street at the Lau pa sat area is one of the popular destinations to have your supper here . The road would be closed up and they will have the stalls open there. The place is very crowded and you can smell a strong satay smell from afar. Be sure to try out there if you are staying nearby such as the hotel telegraph. Our dream destination is to visit Guangzhou again. We like their local food there especially their noodles. We like the environment there and the people there are very friendly. We hope to visit there and shop there in the future .

Set A (28SGD)

Full of local atmosphere~ Lau Pa Sat Satay Street
🏠 Lau Pa Sat Satay Street
🚩7VJ2+33 Singapore
📝 Singapore Satay Street is the perfect place to experience the local atmosphere. It is cleaner and has a variety of delicious food compared to hawker centers. Nasi lemak and chicken rice are great, especially the nasi lemak and curry are must-try flavors. It is hot, but it is good to enjoy the atmosphere. I visited alone, but the kind uncle helped me and took pictures and videos for me. The skewers were delicious, and I enjoyed beer and ice cream, making good memories. I will definitely visit again next time, and I recommend bringing wet tissues and toilet paper in advance!

Satay Street and Lau Pa Sat
Singapore is known for its street food and hawker center culture. A must-visit for travelers to the island is Lau Pa Sat, housed in a historic Victorian style building from the 1800s and located right in CBD. We walked by countless stalls selling local and international foods. We ended up eating outside on the adjacent Satay Street lined with numerous satay carts. This place is very popular with foreigners and visitors.
