#gentingtrip Scapes Hotel, Genting Highlands Check-in: 13.04.2025 Check-out: 14.04.2025 Rating: 8.5/10 Just a casual buddy-buddy getaway. Escaping the hustle and bustle of KL for a bit. Booked a month in advance via Trip.com Twin room with breakfast for 2 people – RM260++. The location is slightly further inside compared to Geo, which is clearly visible from the main road, near Goh Tong Jaya, just before reaching GPO (Genting Premium Outlet). Starting from Geo, I didn’t expect there to be so many apartment hotels. Scapes is one of them, developed by LBS. It was a very pleasant stay – worth the price. Breakfast was good. The room was beautiful, matched the urban jungle vibe. The toilet was nice too. The best part was the ceiling shower – the water pressure was like a waterfall. There was also a mini garden with outdoor exercise equipment and a pool. Breakfast had a lot of variety. My personal favorite was their pastry – croissants and mini waffles with chocolate topping. The food was delicious and fresh. They even had a coffee machine with Boncafe beans. The room came well-equipped with all the essentials: hair dryer, mini fridge, safe box, Wi-Fi, iron board & iron. The room was clean. The TV had a few channels to enjoy. It wasn’t perfect though – the toilet had some mold stains, especially around the sink and silicone edges. But I’m not too fussy. At that price, it was already good enough for me. Overall, still a worthwhile stay. Thank you, Scapes Hotel. I’ll be back again.

If anyone is looking for a place to stay on the mountain in Genting Highlands with a good atmosphere, reasonable prices, and cool photo spots, I must say that Scapes Hotel is one of the very worthwhile options. The hotel is located in Gohtong Jaya, which is the lower zone before going up to the top of Genting, but it is close to many food sources, cafes, and convenience stores. It only takes a short drive to Awana Skyway, which is very convenient for taking the cable car to the shopping mall and theme park. The atmosphere around the hotel is very good, surrounded by mountains, the air is cool all day long (especially in the morning). The hotel is decorated in a modern minimalist style, clean white, with a small garden and sofas in the lobby, perfect for photography lovers. The rooms are not large, but they are well-organized, the beds are soft, the air is cool, the hot water is strong, the wooden floors give a warm feel, and there is a balcony in some rooms. The view is of light fog, very slow life. Breakfast has a moderate selection, the taste is okay. If anyone wants to try local food, I recommend walking to eat at a restaurant nearby, it is just as delicious. Holidays during Hari Raya, me and my husband decided to spend our holiday at Genting Highlands. However, all the rooms at First World Hotel was fully booked, so we searched the others hotel. We are glad to spend our time at Scapes Hotel Genting Highlands. Advantage: 👉🏻 Great hospitality & warm welcoming from the staff. 👉🏻 Room is new, big and clean. 👉🏻 Bathroom is tidy and dry. 👉🏻 The water heater is functional well. 👉🏻 There is a sofa at the room corner, so we can eat our supper comfortably. 👉🏻 Free parking Disadvantaged: 👉🏻Road to hotel a bit rough as the construction still going on 👉🏻 15mins away from Genting Sky Avenue. Overall we are very satisfied with the stay, worth every penny! We would definitely return if I visit Genting again.

There's a cafe by the pool that served local and western cuisines, coffee and tea as well as snacking too! The room is huge, and glad that I have great view from the room- facing the playground and pool. One major problem is that the room is not highly soundproof and the road to the hotel was major damaged due to construction still going on around the area.
