A place I definitely wanted to go to after deciding to go to Aomori I rented a car at Aomori Airport and arrived in about 40 minutes! This restaurant is located along Mutsu Bay near Asamushi Onsen I ate a sparkling three-color bowl I ordered a three-color bowl with sea urchin, salmon roe, and scallops The scallops and sea urchin were prepared on the spot and were super fresh! This is irresistible!! What's with the baby scallops in the miso soup? 🥹 I was so happy I also ordered turban shells and clams, and Aomori's famous sake "Hassen" Fresh seafood and sake while looking out at Mutsu Bay It was just the best! The Aomori Museum of Art was the place I was looking forward to the most on my trip to Aomori. They were doing a night museum so I went there from 5pm✨ The night museum is a real hidden gem! You can take your time and enjoy the artworks☺️ When I visited, the Yoshitomo Nara exhibition was being held. It was really amazing! It was so good that I still talk about it after I got back💕 I was able to see plenty of Nara's works and it felt like I was being sucked in, it was just the best. If you're tired of tourist spots like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hokkaido, try visiting this town. It feels like a local. No one is fighting to take pictures. And yesterday was the first snowfall of the year. 😍❄️🍁 I was so lucky. The leaves changed color along with the snow.
