I visited this cafe because I heard it was a must-visit cafe when I went to Seonyudo Island in Gunsan! I didn't expect much because it was a simple ordering and going upstairs on the first floor, but the Gunsan sea was so pretty through the large windows as soon as I went up! In addition, if you visit Daejangbong, you get a 10% discount, so you can enjoy this great view for 4,950 won for an iced Americano! If you're looking for an ocean view cafe in Gunsan, I recommend Caffeine Master👍

There is a bus every hour from Gunsan. Is this Seonyudo? Seonyudo has beautiful scenery, worthy of being the hometown of scholars. There are islands called Gogunsando lined up, and now they are connected by bridges and roads, making it easy to get to from Gunsan. It is like an island embracing a beach in exotic Southeast Asia. It would be even more beautiful at sunset, but since it is a trip to Ajossi, the sunset is visible even during the day. After walking along the beautiful Seonyudo beach, I felt the beauty that the sunset gives to the island at my age. I highly recommend visiting Seonyudo.

📍 Jeonbuk Gunsan-si Okdo-myeon Seonyudo-ri I went on a trip to Gunsan and ended up at Seonyudo Beach. As the name suggests, it means an island where gods play, so the scenery was so beautiful. The sand was really fine, the sea color was pretty, and there weren't many people, so I thought it was a perfect place to come and play with family for a quiet healing. This area is made up of 63 islands, with 16 inhabited and 47 untouched. I only had time to visit two, but they offered stunning views and fun activities. My Island Hopping Highlights: 1. Seonyudo Island (선유도) Seonyudo is well-known for its beautiful beach (Seonyudo Beach) and exciting zip-line (짚와이어). Giant Crab Statue: On the sandy beach, there's a huge shuttle crab sculpture that's a popular photo spot – everyone was lining up for a picture! Zip-line Thrills: I saw the zip-line (pictured in image 5) and it looked exhilarating! It seems to be around 20,000 KRW per person for that "flying through the air" experience. Dining & Parking: Near Seonyudo Beach, there's a great food street. If your meal costs over 10,000 KRW, you can ask the owner for a parking coupon, giving you two hours of free parking. I found the overall prices here to be quite reasonable. Island Exploration: For those wanting to explore more of the island, you can rent electric tricycles. However, if you're already driving your own car, I don't think renting one is necessary. 2. Jangjado Island (장자도) Jangjado Island is pretty charming! Sweet Treats: I noticed a whole street lined with hotteok (sweet Korean pancake) stalls. You can find plenty of delicious snacks here! Free Parking: Similar to Seonyudo, if you buy something from a shop, you can often ask the owner for a free parking coupon. While I only managed to visit these two islands, I know Jangjado Island (장자도) also boasts the impressive Jangjado Bridge (which connects to Seonyudo, making island hopping easy) and a peak called Daejangbong (대장봉), where you can hike up for a panoramic view of the entire archipelago. #July Travel Support Event I went to Seonyudo while traveling to Gunsan. I remember going there by boat in the past, but now there is a bridge connecting the island so you can drive to it, making it easier to get there. Even though the weather wasn't that good, the sunset was pretty. I don't think I'll ever forget the red sunset at Seonyudo.

I have returned from a trip to Gunsan. Gunsan is one of the cities where our country's modern culture is best preserved, and it is said that during the Japanese colonial period, a large amount of grain was exported to Japan through the port of Gunsan. 1️⃣ I first visited Seonyudo, which is known for its beautiful scenery along the Saemangeum seawall in Gunsan. Seonyudo is especially famous for its beautiful evening sunsets. 2️⃣ After Seonyudo, I moved to downtown Gunsan and visited the Gunsan Modern History Museum. It is a well-organized place where you can learn about artifacts and history related to Gunsan. 3️⃣ Gunsan is known for its abundant marine resources. I went to Gunsan Sinseon Raw Fish Restaurant near Dongbaedae Bridge and ordered a raw fish set menu. I enjoyed the variety of fresh and well-seasoned seafood. 4️⃣ Gunsan, along with Jeonju and Iksan, is one of the three major cities representing Jeollabuk-do, with many industrial complexes, tourist attractions, and old-timey restaurants. If you go to a sunset restaurant but it rains on the day of your trip, you might want to cancel your trip. However, Seonyudo is a great place to walk along the coast even in the rain. It was nice and charming to walk while looking at Mangjubong right in front of you and Daejangbong far away. It was a travel destination that was okay even if it rained because the ground was covered with palm bark for easy walking and there was a deck up to the end of the zipline.

I heard about this place from one of my friends. In July this year I set off the place with my family and my neighbour's family. I was surprised to see that I had to drive some more than 20Kms inside the sea to reach the place. The experince was great. As soon as we reached there we immediately went for zipline. Ziplining over the sea was truly a unique experience for us. Then we rolled out our mats and sat down on the calm beach and spent a few hours soaking the sun which was otherwise hardly visible. Towards the end of the day we rented electric bikes and toures the whole island on our own. The island is extremely beautiful and clean and the zigzag roads on the edge of the sealine made it even more beautiful.
