[2025 Jeju Attraction] Travel Guide for Seoubong Peak (Updated Jul)

After finishing a conference in Jeju, I had a free day 💚 I decided to try paragliding after much deliberation! Location: Seoubong I chose this spot because I wanted to fly with Hamdeok Beach as the backdrop. If you go a bit further from Hamdeok Beach, there's a path leading up to Seoubong. The color of the sea is absolutely stunning 💙 I changed into a pretty outfit perfect for taking photos and started with some snapshots (even if you're alone, they'll take great photos for you!) Being able to see both the mountains and the sea together was such a delightful experience. I've tried paragliding at world-famous spots like Fethiye in Turkey and Switzerland, but Jeju is just as amazing! 😍 Everyone, give it a try! 😆

#JejuTravel Seoubong next to Hamdeok Beach is Jeju's Oreum. I've been there several times, but this is the first time I've seen the summit, and I realized that it is truly a beautiful place. Seoubong means a mountain on the west, and Hamdeok residents call it Seomobong more often than Seoubong! If you climb the mountain overlooking the beautiful Hamdeok Beach, you will soon come to a forest path. If you go up a little along this path, you will see a wonderful view to the east! ‘Seoubong’ 169-1 Hamdeok-ri, Jochon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Seoubong, near Hamdeok Beach, can be climbed in 5 minutes! #JejuTravel I recommend two places where you can see canola flowers in Jeju. They are Seoubong and Noksan-ro. 1. Seoubong Jeju-do Seoubong is a small hill located east of Jeju City near Hamdeok Beach. It seems like it would have been really hard to climb on a hot summer day, but it was a little easier to climb in spring. When you climb up, you can see canola flowers in a wide field with the ocean in the background. Personally, I recommend you visit Seoubong because it is the only canola flower field with the ocean in the background. 2. Noksan-ro Jeju canola flower spot Noksan-ro is famous for seeing cherry blossoms and canola flowers together. The cherry blossoms bloom briefly in March, so you have to time the blooming period well. Seoubong Circular Trail, famous for its Olle-gil course It was a great place because you could heal just by going up to the pavilion If you have time and like walking, it would be okay to see the whole Olle-gil. This is the Jeju sea that I saw when I traveled to Gujwa-eup and Jochon-eup in the east of Jeju! The view of the eastern sea is great, so the Seoubong Sunrise Festival is held every year :) 🩵 A spot where you can look down on the beautiful Hamdeok Beach just by climbing up a little bit!!! When I searched online, it seems to be popular as a sunrise and sunset spot! I'm full of intentions to visit again :)

Great views and comfortable seating. Highlights - The coffee was of supreme quality and the carrot cake was amongst the best on the island. Avg. Price per Person - 3000krw to 10 000krw Rating - A perfect 10 for the stunning views and service with a smile.

But it is so narrow that you can use the Hamdeok Beach parking lot. This is my favorite place in Jeju-do!!!! ⭐️ If you climb up Seoubong next to Hamdeok Beach a little, you can look down on the ocean at a glance :) 🩵 There are a lot of cows, so it is good for taking pictures and looking around. ㅎㅎ It is so healing to walk around the perimeter road and look down at the ocean from the pavilion. 💭 You should definitely go there ~~!

I fell in love with it the moment I got there and it became my favorite place..💖 It's a place where you can be happy just by looking at the sea from Seoubong This place where the lush green nature and the emerald sea come together!! It's also famous for wedding photos, so there were 3 teams there at the time ㅎㅎ That means you can get a great shot even if you just take a quick photo!⭐️ Instead of climbing all the way up, I recommend just walking the perimeter trail to the rapeseed flower field and the horses! This place is the prettiest :) 📸 If you visit in March or April, the rapeseed flowers are in full bloom! There were also many horses, so it was really amazing to see them up close🐎 ⭐️ Since it's near the sea, it's really windy! If you dress for the wind, it will be easier to get pretty pictures?! 🅿️ I recommend parking at the Hamdeok Beach public parking lot and going to the beach -> Seoubong in that order! (+ There is also a Seoubong parking lot, but it is very narrow and there are not many spaces🥲) However, there are many parking lots on the roadside, so if you want to park on the Seoubong side, it would be better to park on the “Pyeongsa-gil” side! * Please note that the Hamdeok Beach parking lot and Seoubong are quite far apart! 🚻 There is a bathroom a little way down from Seoubong!
