The hot spring pools are mostly open-air, utilizing geothermal spring water that is clean and pure. The pools are surrounded by natural rocks and greenery, creating a serene atmosphere. Visiting during winter is especially poetic, as the rising steam reveals frost flowers on the tree branches. I soaked in the forest pool for two hours, enveloped in warmth, as if breathing in sync with the forest itself. This experience is not just about soaking in hot springs; it feels like a dialogue between the body and the earth. The earthy essence of this hot spring journey helped me rediscover inner peace in the outskirts of Seoul.
