The foot bath ♨️ features pleasantly warm water, making it a cozy and relaxing experience. Although there’s a roof, the open-air setting gives it a feel of an outdoor bath. The full-body massage is done by a machine while you lie down, making it effortless. You can wear a disposable eye mask with a nice scent to fully relax. Afterward, your hands and feet are massaged. For the hands, gloves filled with cream are used, and the machine massages them inside. It was an incredibly soothing experience! Additionally, there’s a rental service for costumes that let you dress up like Jang Geum, but unfortunately, it was crowded due to a Korean holiday on the day of my visit. What a pity. The Seoul K-Medi Center (also known as the Yangnyeong Herb Medicine Museum), located few blocks away from exit 2 at Seoul’s line 1 (Jegi-dong Station), offers a variety of activities related to ancient korean medicine. They have a museum, coffee shop, expositions, cooking classes, foot bath, among other activities and they not only welcome locals but foreigners as well (i had the chamomile foot bath... it was the best in Seoul). Seoul is known for its countless stairs, and after days of walking, my legs were almost as stiff as iron... Luckily, my itinerary brought me to the Medicine Museum in the Yakryeong Market. Besides exploring the museum, I also booked a 20-minute herbal foot bath. Though brief, it was enough to relax and unwind. If you have more time, you can also visit the restaurant at the museum entrance, which offers medicinal meals and herbal teas. As for me, I chose to head to the nearby Gyeongdong Market to check out daily necessities, fruits, vegetables, and dried goods. Even though it’s not convenient to bring them home, as a homemaker, just browsing made me happy.

For just 1,000 won for adults and 500 won for children, you can enjoy oriental medicine experiences, foot bath experiences, soap making experiences, and more. You must make a reservation in advance, and they also lend traditional clothing for free, so I had fun taking commemorative photos.
